I'm a member of a new soccer supporters club in New York state (We currently haven't formed Non-Profit, LLC, etc). We have been considering our options to help fund our activities and the idea of accepting donations has surfaced and it gaining serious consideration among our members. Before we place a PayPal donation button to our website, we are wondering if we can legally accept donations or do we have to form a Non-Profit first to do so?

Since Yahoo has switched this section to German League it has alienated fans of other leagues (MLS, NASL, USL, etc) who have no section to post their related topics and questions. Now I come to back here and this section has NOTHING posted. Yahoo should seriously reconsider switching it back!!!!!

For those of you that don't know...Women's Professional Soccer is waiting for United States Soccer Federation to sanction its league. The sad reality is that the league only has 5 clubs (MagicJack removed from the league) and is below the mandatory amount of clubs...8...which USSF requires any league to have to receive sanctioning. WPS has asked for a waiver in order for the league so the league can continue to operate and seek expansion markets. Below is a petition in support of WPS being sent to USSF's CEO/Secretary General Dan Flynn. If you care and would like to support WPS here is your chance to make a difference:

Need Help! I'm creating a soccer website, looking for Live Sports Feed to add to my site. I would like to keep COST LOW due to the expenses that I've already accrued. I have came across a few FREE feeds, however they don't cover soccer or not enough coverage of particular leagues.

My site will cover the following leagues: MLS-major league soccer, NASL-north american soccer league, USL-united soccer league, WPS-women's professional soccer.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

As a NYRB supporter, I respect him as a player and I wish him well. Angel gave NYRB fans alot of great memories and a shot at an MLS Cup.

I think this is a great move for Donovan, Everton has alot of injuries and Donovan will be able to keep his form while playing in a great league.

I personally have mixed feelings. I think Bradley has done a good job with the National team. But USA is lacking that certain flare, which could come from a manager like Guus Hiddink.

I know this is not a done deal and Blatter has to hold a meeting with the executive committee. But it sounds like this issue is not dead. And IF Ireland is added to the field Blatter would also add Costa Rica as well.

I have been trying to look up the value on several websites like Kelley Blue Book, however every website doesn't go back to 1983 Auto Values.
