  • Question about EWTN?

There is a show on EWTN of a bunch of nuns praying on the rosary. It features one very old nun leading a lot of younger nuns. The Old nun has, for lack of better words, a very plushy face. My question is is this program always the same or do the put a new one up each day?

  • 1986 Honda overheating help?

OK, I have a 1986 Honda civic 1.5L Carb. It has a new water pump, thermostat, and rad. I have heard that this carb is designed to run lean under certain conditions. I also heard that they begin to foul and run super lean causing over heating. My question is does that sound right? And do I need a new carb or are there rebuild kits for it.

  • veggie meatballs and gravy?

I have a vegatarian co-worker, and I would like to make something she could also eat for our pot-luck. I am planning on making meatballs and gravy (sauce for my non-italian readers :-P) And i was just thinking, since there are veggie burgers, are there also veggie meatballs? and is there a way to make them home-made?

btw, she can eat eggs, so no worries about also keeping them egg free (needed for the meatballs to not disinegrate in the gravy) And, obviously i know to keep them separate from the meat.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Cottonball Phobia?

Bear with me with this one...

I have a "Phobia" of cottonballs. Yes. Cottonballs. The texture of them makes my hair stand up on end, I cringe, I break out in a sweat, and the "Noise" of cottonballs just sends me over the edge (its kind of a sick crunchy noise). It also happens to run in my family (both my sisters have it, my uncle has it, and my grandfather had it.)

My question is, are we freaks? Are we the ONLY people out there with a Cottonball "Phobia"? Is it even considered a real phobia? Is there a way to cure it? Do you think its physical or psycological?

If you have the same or a similar phobia, tell us about it!

  • Feeding wet food to my cats?

I have 2 indoor cats, about 10 months old. I have always fed them just dry food (Not the super-cheap stuff though) because I thought it would be healthier and prevent them from getting fat. Well, after a little research I find that its better to feed them wet food for their kidneys, and also another source of moisture.

My question is, how do i get them to eat it? I tried keeping it separate from the kibble, I've tried mixing it in, I've tried just laying it on top, different flavors, why wont they eat it??? They go NUTS when i open the can, the love the smell of it, but they wont eat it. Is it really bad for them to only eat kibble? What shoud I do?

  • Who's that other cat in the mirror!?

I have 2 cats, about 8-9 months old. I have a mirror hanging over my couch. My male cat will sit there for HOURS staring and pawing at himself in the mirror, and he will stand up on his hind legs and try to claw through it. Then he gets tired, lays down in front of it and sleeps, starting over again when he wakes up. Other cat (female) could care less.

I heard that cats dont understand that it is THEM in the reflection. It seems like he's trying to get into the other side of the mirror. Sometiems he wakes up, and RUNS to the mirror to stare for a while. Is this odd? He seems to be having fun, but should I move the mirror?

  • Moving soon with 2 cats, any suggestions?

I am moving to a new apartment soon, and I have two cats that are about 8 months old. I've never moved with them before and I am a bit nervous that they will have trouble adjusting to the new apartment. (Im afriad either they will pee everywhere or try to run out the door!) Any suggestions to make the move easier for them?
