I just got a new PC. My heart was broken when I came to know that I've brought GeForce 8400 GT (with 512 MB RAM) which is pixel shader version 1.4

So, I cannot run Aero interface of Vista.

I just wanted to know whether Aero interface of Windows 7 also requires pixel shader version 2?

If yes, then please tell me best Nvidia Graphic Card which does supports pixel shader version 2. I do not play games very much, I'm a casual gamer.

I just got a new LG 19 inch widescreen LCD monitor, LCD is working fine, but everything looks wide stretched.

I tried to change my screen resolution to monitor's native resolution, but my display tab doesn't shows widescreen resolution.

My monitor's native resolution is 1440 x 900 and I am working on 1280 x 960.

Can someone tell me how to fix this problem? Do I need to buy a new graphics card? Please tell me.

Hey, I just got Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Processor. I just want it to overclock to 3.16 GHz. Can someone tell me that normal PC fan will be okay for cooling or I need something more powerful?
