How many fans does Core 2 Duo requires?
Hi, I'm planning to buy a new PC. I just want to know how many fans Core 2 Duo E8400 (3 GHz) will require to work?
I live in Chandigarh, city in Northern India. Temperature is generally around 20 to 35 degree Celsius.

The CPU fan comes with the processor is sufficient enough. You don,t need to add extra fan.

The stock fan that comes with the processor will be suffice.
Other than that I'd suggest a case with two fans, one in the front and one in the back. This helps maintain airflow which can greatly improve temperatures which affect the processor life span.
