Has anyone had success using hypnosis for either smoking cessation or any phobias, I am considering it for both and wanted to know if it really works and is worth the investment?
1 AnswerPsychology6 years agoNo rug or yes rug under pool tale (2 photos)?
Hi, we are finishing our basement and just installed this pool table and rug. My wife and I disagree if it looks good or not, one likes it and the other thinks the oriental style is wrong. We can either keep it as it, put a different rug (perhaps tan with black) or go without a rug entirely, can you offer your opinion please, thank you in advance.

4 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling7 years agoThoughts of using name tags for a party?
We are having an adult party at our home this summer with about 40-50 people, what are your thoughts on having everyone fill out a name tag to help them meet people easier, etc. Some think it is corny and only for business functions, what are your thoughts?
2 AnswersEntertaining7 years agoDo you really needs spots on a pool table?
We just ordered a new pool table today and wanted to know how others felt about the spots at each end. Some places tell you to put a round spot at both ends and rotate the side you break from. We wondered if others just disregard the spots and don't use them at all, this is just a home table for fun party games, we are not serious players. We would rather not have to see the spots and replace them, would it be unusual if we don't use a spot at all, we know players will have to "ballpark" an imaginary spot and line but please advise.
6 AnswersSnooker & Pool7 years agoStupid Am I Pregnant Questions?
Whey do hundreds of women give us their circumstances and symptoms and think we are medical doctors or somehow can magically tell if they are pregnant or not. Are these women so stupid not to know they can go get a pregnancy test at a pharmacy very cheaply and find out in 24 hours instead of wasting space online asking a bunch of fricken strangers. The ignorance of these women with these questions never ceases to amaze me, we are not able to tell your horoscope, we are not doctors, we do not have a magic crystal ball, go take a damn test and stay off Yahoo answers please, and get a brain while you are at it, maybe that is why you are in this mess to start with!
1 AnswerPregnancy8 years agoOur Numerical Nomenclature is Odd?
Ok, tell me why we count to twelve then we add the word teen as in thirteen. Why don't we do twelveteen? Then we go to the number forty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety; why don't we say twotee for twenty or threetee for thirty? Then their is the number four, but forty is not fourty, why? And why do we do twenty-one, thirty-one, thirty-two, etc but not ten-one, ten-two? I could go on, but I need some more tequila!
3 AnswersWords & Wordplay8 years agoRescue Dog Personality Issues?
We are looking at a small rescue dog that we me today. He was very shy and a bit timid, perhaps from abuse. However I also know dogs sometimes bond with one person and we were strangers. He was cuddly and did not shake and was very sweet. Will any fears or timidity he might have eventually disappear, or might he be scarred for life and how long will it take for him to forget the past and trust us?
4 AnswersDogs8 years agoBichon versus Havanese?
We are settled on one of these two breeds and looking for any imput from people that know about both of them. I know the Havanese is smaller, has long versus curly hair and comes in different colors. Any other comments to help us make our decision would be helpful. We want a good companion dog that likes to cuddle and we have no kids or other pets, we are home a lot as well. Temperment is a big concern. We looked at the Maltese but they seem too small and anxous and nippy. Any help would be great, thank you in advance.
2 AnswersDogs8 years agoConnecting and External Powered Speaker to TV with Optical Output Cable?
I have a brand new Samsung 32" HDTV and it has an optical audio output that I would like to connect to a external speaker system. It is a tower speaker, self amplified sold at Brookstone (Big Blue Media Tower) and it has a optical input. I know it will work as that is how Brookstone advertises it for a TV, kind of like a sound bar. My question is that Samsung says I have to control the speaker volume with the speaker remote and others online say if I set my TV menu to external speaker, the external speaker volume can be controlled via the TV remote, please clarify if you know the answer before I buy this system, thank you for your help.
1 AnswerHome Theater8 years agoHooking External Speakers to LCD TV?
I have a new 1080p 32" LCD TV (Samsung EH5000) that I want to directly connect an external tower speaker to without having to go through a separate amplifier. It is a garage TV but the sound on the TV is just not quite good enough. What type of speaker would connect to the output, which is a optical digital audio output or there is a small round audio output of some sort. Also, when I connect a speaker, does the TV remote automatically control the output and do the TV's speakers shut down when it sees there is an external speaker connected. Thank you in advance for any guidance or brand/models to look at.

6 AnswersBaseball9 years agoWhat is the best cute white fluffy dog?
We want a smaller dog, cute and white that doesn't shed, is loving and loyal and easily trained. The ones we are condiering now are the Coton de Tulear, Maltese and Havanese. If you have any experience with these, please give my your thoughts as to why one breed versus another. We have a nice size home and this will be our first dog, my wife is a bit afraid of dogs so a good temperment is important also. Thanks for any advice you might provide.
9 AnswersDogs9 years agoAre Maltese good Dogs to Own?
I am looking for some insight on a Maltese puppy or adult dog purchase/resque. It would be our first dog and I would like a small dog that is easily trained and easy to care for. I know they need daily brushing and walks, that is fine, but any other things I should know about their temperment or good and bad things to consider, would be helpful, thanks in advance.

1 AnswerToys9 years agoWhere is the best place to buy blinds/window treatments?
We are building a new home and confused about the best place to buy wood blinds and a few curtains, what brands are best, and who to have install them. I know we can go to JC Penny, not sure how good or competitive they are. Also, Lowes and Home Depot sell them as well as online stores like justblinds. What would you recommend as the best approach to get good value, good products, and a fair price fully installed. Also, what brands are best for blinds?
