  • How cool should an air conditioner keep an upstairs apartment?

I know heat rises and all, just trying to see if I should call the office again.

It's 93 degrees outside (heat index 97), and my thermostat says 83. It's not freezing over, but I think our coolant might be really low. (It *was* freezing over, but maintenance just changed the filter.)

Also, would I go by the heat index or the actual temperature to get the range of how much the AC is cooling?

  • Can landlord charge all of us for one person's screw-up?

I live in an apartment complex in Tennessee, 6 units in my section. Someone has been flushing baby wipes, fabric, and pads down the toilet, and it's backed up the outside line multiple times. Today, each door got a notice saying it has to stop or all units would be charged $50.

I've not flushed any of that down the toilet. I know they can't really prove who *is*, but can they just charge all of us for this? They don't even hire a plumber, they get maintenance to snake the line.

  • 4 year old having nightmares, but only in HIS room?

He has them almost every night, for the past few months. He wakes up screaming and crying.

His grandma hasn't mentioned him having nightmares when he spends the weekend at her house, we've lived in this apartment for 1.5 years now, and he doesn't have them when sleeping in our bed. Haven't noticed any patterns with food, bedtime, etc.

I've tried asking him what the bad dreams were about, but he can't/won't tell me. Anyone have any advice?

  • Twilight Princess HD disc/console problem?

Got a Wii U and Twilight Princess HD with amiibo April 2nd. Game likes to freeze instead of loading, and freezes inside the game after I finally get it to load.

Thought it might be the disc since it froze trying to load the game, but my new disc is doing the same thing a few days later.

Only have one other physical game, and it doesn't freeze at any point.

I plan to chat with Nintendo tomorrow or the day after, but I'd rather not have to send the system off for repairs for who knows how long.

Has anyone else had this problem, and did you manage to fix it?

  • Looking for manga name?

I read a manga on Onemanga before they closed, and now I can't remember the name, probably because it wasn't in english.

I remember the main character was a woman who worked at an antique store. In the first chapter, she was walking home and saw a big black dog. Next thing I remember is there was a man she didn't know in her house telling a guy at her door she 'already had a man', basically.

The guy is the dog, and is practically immortal. They have sex quite a bit, but she's pretty firm about not doing it while he's in dog form (full moon, I think).

The story was interesting, and the ending kinda sad. I was hoping to reread it, but I haven't turned anything up on google. ><

  • Seeing lots of red dots?

They're perfectly spaced, and I see them really well in the dark, but I can see them in the light if I try. I asked my optometrist and he said that since it's in color, even when I close my eyes, that it's psychological. Does anyone know a name for this? Or a reason?

That's really close to what I see when I close my eyes.
