I will try to make write the short version.

I am a 20 year old student of a technical university and an aspiring programmer + beginning mobile application developer. Studying though, it takes all the joy out of my life, all the time to spend with the people I care about. My grades are miserable and it seems like I would have to retake several classes, if I did not fail(which is currently quite probable). School has taught me nothing. Everything I know today and can do, I learned on my own, or with friends.

Due to the problems at uni and a lack of basically any enjoyment of my life, I have become severely depressed, started having health problems and ruined one or two relationships with people close to me (partially due to seeking the solution to my problems at the bottom of several bottles).

I am really scared I will never get a shot at utilizing my talent at work, because of a few letters missing from my name.

What is thy opinion? Thank you for, at least, reading.

Currently, my pc is connected via an etherned cable to the modem, providing 1.0Gb/s. I consider speed very important, as all my work needs sending very large amounts of data from device to device. I will be getting a router to connect my other devices (laptop, tablet, phone) and not have to set up LAN networks all the time. So I am just curious about the speed, since my pc does not have wireless capabilities, how much is cable speed affected, if I change:

Modem --> PC

to

Modem --> Router --> PC

I am quite new to guitar playing, I can play a couple songs, let's say decently. I just now got a songbook and I'd love to learn how to play some of my favourites properly.

I have been getting increasingly interested in this topic, asking questions here, talking to friends and a reason I got from a friend and he said and I quote: "Because I might get back together with her". Only other one was from another friend and she was uncertain, if she still had feelings for him. So far I have never heard anything to contradict what I think. Ok, so she has had this friend for quite a while. In my opinion, he is being really inappropriate around her. Even talked to her about wanting to sleep with her. I told her I have a problem with this. Nothing came from that.

Obviously I cannot tell her to stop being friends with him, because whatever you do or say in a relationship can and will be used against you.

I work in a company that makes me feel real bad. I earn money thats allright. I still go to school. I have barely any time left to spend with my family, my girlfriend and my friends.
