Where can I find picture frames that hold more than one item?
I remember seeing on TV once a picture frame that held multiple items. In this case, the frame was used to hold children's drawings (which pile up rapidly). Where can I find a frame like that?
2 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling9 years agoHow can I stop political phone calls?
I receive about one political phone call every hour at my home phone number from Michele Bachmann and the RNC.
It's extremely annoying. I have no intention of giving them money or, after their ridiculous harassment, any political support. I've told them this and they still call. I've told them that they have the wrong number, that I can't afford any donation, that I'll help if they send something by mail because I feel uncomfortable transferring money over the phone (all of which are untrue). They simply will not stop.
I'm on the Do Not Call List, but that doesn't block political phone calls.
I've heard about the Political Do Not Call List ($5/year). Does it work? Has anyone used it?
If not, how can I stop these phone calls?
5 AnswersCivic Participation10 years agoWhat are the most even-tempered dog breeds?
I'm not planning on getting a new dog in the near future, but I'm curious: what dog breeds, when properly exercised, socialized, and trained, are calm in response to new or potentially frightening situations (e.g., without great anxiety issues in response to thunder, loud noises, short-term separation, etc.)?
5 AnswersDogs10 years agoWhat is a non-Google-Translate translation of the following French phrase?
I'm looking at a menu and Google Translate gave me an unintelligible translation:
L'Anchoïade légère et ses Crudités
Anchovies? Vegetable? I can't really tell.
Thanks!
5 AnswersLanguages10 years agoWhat tablet is best for me?
Over the past year or so, I've been contemplating buying a tablet. I would primarily use it for school (e.g. taking notes, typing papers, etc.).
I would really like the following:
*a USB port
*flash support
*a camera
*pen/stylus input for note-taking
*a large (7"+) screen
*a capacitive multi-touch touch screen
*a large app market
*lots of memory
*3G/4G internet (possibly)

Are there other nutrients that I can add? What about soil layering?
Thanks!

Robert Rodriguez Red: http://tinypic.com/r/3eh6w/7

(I'm asking this question again because (1) it didn't show up on the list of open questions and (2) the place where I hosted the pictures previously was very sketchy.)
9 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoWhat should I do? My driving instructor smoked while I was driving and now my hair smells like cigarettes!?
So, today I had my second driving lesson (finished four out of six hours! yay!). It went well, but my new instructor smokes and smoked while I was driving.
He had the windows rolled down, but now my hair smells like cigarette, which smells awful. I would normally wash my hair, but I just had a $38 blowout done at a salon last night.
How can I get the cigarette smell out without ruining my blowout?
2 AnswersHair1 decade agoWhat's a clever and persuasive hook?
I am the fundraising director for a school club. We want to sell custom discount cards that offer discounts to popular area retailers; the card offers reusable discounts for one year to each of the 20 retailers listed on the back and sells for $10. Merchants receive free online advertising for 3 months and great publicity.
I am sending out several teams to speak to area merchants about the proposal. What should they say?
Sorry if this is in the wrong category! I wasn't sure where to put it.
3 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoHow do some questions get a ridiculous number of answers?
I noticed that some questions have received huge numbers of answers. Is this a glitch in the Y!A system or are some questions just really popular?

5 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhat is the best synthetic saddle?
I would like to purchase a high quality synthetic (non-leather) saddle. I know of Wintec, but that's about it.
Producers of either dressage, all-purpose, or jumping saddles are what I'm looking for.
While I'm asking this question, I might as well inquire about bridles...
Thanks in advance.

This is my first time ever taking the SAT in any of its various incarnations. What sorts of colleges/programs are looking for these types of scores and should I consider taking the SAT II's again?
2 AnswersStandards & Testing1 decade agoWhat should I feed my new kitten?
I am bringing home a new kitten in a few days who will be approximately 9 weeks old.
I realize that grocery store brands and most big-chain pet store brands are undesirable in terms of protein source and content and grain content.
I would like to feed a fully canned or meat diet, but it seems to be beyond affordability at the moment.
I feed my dog Blue Wilderness Dog Food and a high protein canned food. Is Blue Wilderness Cat Food appropriate for a kitten of this age? If not, what would be a good dry food?
4 AnswersCats1 decade agoHunter over fences advice?
I'm riding in the Baby Green Hunter division at a horse show on Sunday located at the place where I ride. I was wondering if I could get advice specific to hunter over fences classes--I think I'm okay in flat classes, but I have a feeling that I suck at courses.
More specific information:
My trainer always tells me to be softer in my seat. Recently, she's also been saying that I should have softer hands, but I actually hold the reins pretty loosely, so I don't really understand that. I jump ahead on some jumps--I've been working on it, but I sometimes do jump ahead.
The pony that I ride is super barn sour when he's in the outdoor arena, so he bulges to the outside when we near the barn. In addition, he moves slower going away from the barn and rushes going towards it.
Any advice about any of these issues would be nice... thanks in advance!
4 AnswersHorses1 decade agoGroup travel to Barbados?
I am looking for the best (and most cost effective) things to do in Barbados in August 2010 with a group of six teenage girls and two adults (the parents of one of the girls). The trip is to celebrate one girl's 16th birthday.
Air travel: Airfare from PHL to BGI seems to be around $600 pp. Is there any airline that has cheap airfare to BGI?
Accommodation:
Right now, the best option seems to be renting a 4 bedroom villa for upwards of $600/night, which is fine for my budget. Is there any other group lodging option available (under $800/night for all eight of us)?
Activities:
I was thinking of these activities:
Polo lesson at Waterhall Polo Center (Ape's Hill) for 7 of the people
3 hour snorkeling tour for everyone
Hunte's Garden
I would like to include more activities, but they would have to be inexpensive (prices get really big when you multiply them by eight :) ) because the polo lesson would be rather expensive. Any suggestions?
Additionally, does anyone know of a good place to ride (horses) in Barbados; only two in our group are regular horseback riders, but we would still prefer something that's not so "nose-to-tail"?
Car Rental:
Are there any reputable, inexpensive car rental services that rent vans (8-seaters)? I found Drive-A-Matic Car Rentals--are they any good?
Thank you for reading my really long question (and hopefully answering)!
3 AnswersBarbados1 decade agoDo you need to clean up dog PEE during a walk?
I was out on a walk this afternoon with my dog when she stopped to sniff a mailbox and pee. The owner of the house was leaving and I pulled her up to continue with the walk because I thought that it might be uncomfortable for him to watch my dog pee near his property (although the area between the sidewalk and the curb is actually TOWNSHIP property). Then, he stopped me and asked me to clean it up...the dialogue went like this:
Man: Ma'am, can you clean that up?
Me: But she just peed.
Man: She peed or she crapped?
Me: She peed. I can remove the dirt if you'd like, but...
Man: Well, I thought she crapped because I just saw her squatting!
Me: Um, she does that for both.
[then I left]
Was I in the wrong? If so, what is the appropriate manner for cleaning up dog pee (I carry a bag for feces)?
Thanks in advance.
9 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhat should I do with unexpected koi fry?
I have a 6000 gallon, two level pond of about 15-20 fish. Two large albino catfish, several large koi of various breeds that I bought directly from Japan (one of which is a gorgeous Kohaku), several mystery breed koi from a local pond shop (what I started out with), a few bluegill that I caught at a river a about 5 years ago (I didn't know what to do with them), and one goldfish that a friend didn't want. All of my fish (except for the bluegill and the goldfish) are 10+ in.
About a month ago, I thought I saw a fish about an inch long hiding in a shallow corner that is densely covered in water plants, but I assumed it was just the light shining on the pond or something. Today, when I was feeding the fish I definitely saw a one-inch fish swimming in the same area. After about 45 seconds it disappeared back into the depths (although the section that it is in is only 3 feet deep).
I never intended to have fry and I don't know what to do! I have no idea how old it is and I don't want to kill it! Help!!!!!
4 AnswersFish1 decade agoWhat's the name of this song?
I can't remember the name of this song. I know the tune (I know, not very helpful) and what I *think* are some of the words--not sure though. It sounds like something that would be on Grey's Anatomy. I don't really know...it was a pretty popular song a while back. It's a very quiet song...
Possible lyrics:
"Where you'll find her, making a wave back for miles..."
"...Fifteen...."
PLEASE HELP (though, with the amount of info I gave, it's unlikely that I'll get an answer). It's driving me craaaaazy. :(
