I have it narrowed down to some vintage kits:

-Rogers Londoner XP8

-A 1970's maple Slingerland

I have all the hardware and most of the cymbals. I'm looking from something around $1000. Over the past few years my gigs have been more and more mixed between jazz and rock instead of just rock.

We are moving and we need to ship a drumset overseas. Should we detune it and why? It won't be used for around 2 months.

We are moving and we are thinking about getting a cage for our cat so that we can stay over mine and my husband's parents house (it would be for a little less then 10 days). My family doesn't allow animals in the house but they will make an exception if she is declawed or caged. I don't want to get her declawed so that is out of the question to me. My husbands family has a dog and I would say that we would just leave her in the room we are staying in and close the door but for some reason every time we stay there, someone is always going in and leaving the door open for the dog to wander in there. The dog is actually really friendly towards other animals, my cat is not. This would be a way to give her a sanctuary that is her own in the house.

The cage is 48" by 36" by 18"and has three levels.

We already know our cat has a hard time adjusting to other people's places and other environments but we are moving so we have no other choice but to bring her somewhere. She gets into everything and has broken many of things and clawed many of things when not watched like a hawk 24/7. She's actually a really smart cat and knows what she is doing is wrong.

It is just an idea and I wanted to get some thoughts on it. It is not set in stone by any means. I just want to get all perspectives on it so I can make an informed decision.

The first visitor we had in our home was very rough when playing with our cat, even when asked not to be. Finally, she hissed at him. And kept hissing every time he went near her. The second (three weeks later) got hissed at while he was petting her (not rough at all). These were the only two visitors we have had since we adopted her last month. So I guess my question is, does the first experience set the tone for her behavior when we have visitors? She never did anything like this with her previous owners and their guests so it makes me a little worried that she will continue this behavior with our guests.

My friend is trying to toilet train her cat. She is gone for a week and I am taking care of it, in my house not hers. I did this for her about a month ago and we had very little problems. The cat (female) poops on the floor because she doesn't have enough area to balance herself to do that on the toilet. I understand that, she has been doing that since day one, I don't have a problem cleaning it up. They used to put litter in the toilet tray and they stopped doing that. I know the cat loves scratching and feeling the litter and is unable to now. Now it is peeing on my blankets. I have her for 6 more days. I put a repellent spray on my carpets and couches. What should I do about the blankets and her actually going to the bathroom where she is suppose to?

I have a $20 limit on the gift per person. It is for my mother in law/father in law. They made it a point to keep talking about their birthdays the last time we talked. I'm kind of hurt that they didn't remember mine (and haven't in the past) and I know if I don't do anything for theirs that I'll be the "bad person". So what should I get them? Thanks in advance for the answers.

I found two JMRA crochet hooks. They are size 9 and 10. They are used for thread crochet. And made in Germany. Do you by chance know what they are in mm?

There is this pattern for potholders that I love and it calls for worsted weight yarn. I have a ton but it is all acrylic. It didn't specify what fiber should be used. I was wondering if I could use acrylic?

My period has suddenly changed and I was told it could be because I am turning 25 soon. It is way lighter then last months and I didn't get any pre-menstrual syndroms like I usually do. I was just wondering if yours did.

I was thinking while I was playing my game today...I haven't finshed many of my games (only have seen a few credits) and half of them I didn't do all the side quests.

I have a pattern that calls for size 10, is it okay to use size 3 instead? Can patterns use substitutions if you change the hook size to correspond?
