Dad died and there are only 2 kids. Brother kept everything. Now Mom died and brother has kept everything so far and it's been 8 months.Should I have ask for my share? Or ask for somethings I would like to have? Who deciedes that they are in charge when there is no will? They live in another state. So for the future should I be telling people before they die i'm interested in certain things? I never ask for anything and have never got anything as well. What should I do?

First of all when my dad died I never got anything of his to remember him by.I didn't think I was supose to ask. She has no insurance and is on Medicare but is not able to qualify for the 255.00 benefit. No other vetrans benefit either. Is there anyplace else to get help to pay for this? The cheapest cremation is 1245.00 for MO. Any ideas from anyone?

MOM died and now we have 3 days to have her body removed. We know creamation is the cheapest way to go but we were wondering if there are any govermant programs that could help us to pay for her to be cremated. We don't have any money and she didn't make plans ahead of time.

I find it hard to believe that this man has spent all his money, didn't make his house payments(I DID) maxed out his credit cards so he could make people think he was still rich.

We live on 30,000 a year, fixed income, paid all our bills on time and don't have any credit card debt.I just don't feel bad for this guy,do you? I was just wondering what other people thought.
