10 AnswersHunting9 years agohelp with deer hunting tips?
I just started hunting this season. im stationed in Louisiana so i figured i would do something to pass the time. I have a bow and we own 5 acres with our home. I had seen a few does around our subdivision during the summer. I have set out corn and salt blocks, but yet have seen any trace of a deer. I just bought a buck caller and seeing if that will bring in any. also there is a hunting club within my subdivision so there has to be enough wildlife here to have the property. I was wanting to know some tips for hunting and baiting deer.

2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)9 years agohelp with big predator?
Im in central louisiana and have a small poultry farm. when i moved to my new place i had 35 chickens,1 50lb turkey, 4 adult pheasants, a goose, 5 quail, and 16 baby pheasants. i went on vacation after about 2-3 weeks of being here and when i got back i noticed alot of my chickens were gone and i asked my friends what happened and they couldnt figure out what happened. So after watching and setting traps i was able to get 1 opposum and 1 coon. and then all the killing stoped at this point i only had 4 chickens baby pheasants and i guinea. The other day my only hen left was gone and i found her feathers so i figured a hawk got her. then a few days later one of my rosters goes missing. thinking a hawk again. So i had some babies left and secured the coop and put the babies outside. well the next morning i go outside and 3 are missing i find a little hole dug where something tried to get my young rooster but failed and then by the door the chicken wire was ripped from the wood and i had a cage with another male quail in it. well that quail somehow got eaten without the cage opening and the cage was moved about 10 feet. so last night i really reenforced the coop setting traps and such. and about 11 at night i get a feeling i should check on them and i had big spot light pointed at the coop. and wat comes walking around the coop a big wildcat like a bobcat or cougar bot really sure he took off before i could get a good look and shoot him. he stood about 2 feet and was very skiddish. so my question is how can i trap a big cat like this i have live bait for but i cant stay up all night not knowing when hes gonna come or if hes gonna come at all.
5 AnswersHunting9 years agoChapter 13 Bankruptcy questions?
I filed chapter 13 bankruptcy in oct 2011. I pay 350 every month and have not been late on any payments nor incurred any additional debt. My wife and i were wanting to buy a house now that i am getting out of the army and will not be relocating as much as we were while in the army. I know there is no "rule" that says how long you have to wait til you can apply for a home loan. So i was wanting information like banks that will work with you instead of just going all over getting rejected by everyone. Also should we wait alittle longer. we are waiting until the end of oct for personal reason so that will be 1 full year.

3 AnswersBirds9 years agobar for reenlistment/flagged?
Im in the army. I was barred for reenlistment back in Aug for familty issues. My commander does not like either my wife or myself. My wife and i had a fight and i called the MPs to remove me from houseing i was not charged and did not hit my wife but my commander still barred me and said to attend counseling and after 3 months she will review. so 3 months came up and she said the bar will not be removed cuz she feels i will still have family issues in the future. in feb it will be my 6 month review. i got an email this weekend that said my flag was lifted and i asked my nco about it. he said he was told thur that i was not flagged anymore but i was still barred. My question is can my unit do that unflag me but still bar me. noone that i know is helping me out with this so im asking from others out there that may know something.
