I am a myspace addict that is quickly becoming just as addicted to this silly site! I despise these limits that are placed upon us though when we are at the lowest levels of the game I'm wordy and bitchy and facetious to the extreme but sometimes, for some things, I am deadly serious because this is the internet I am much more willing to be vocal in my disagreements and thus I come across a lot more intolerant than I am in real life

  • tefillin question cont.?

    it was asked if you are to lay tefillin on Pesach.......

    I was under the impression that you do except for the first full day, which is treated like shabbat, when you don't........

    then, because I am not a male and am not orthodox I got to thinking that I was wrong and I decided to delete my answer till I was positive................

    found out that I think I was right but apparently once you delete an answer you can't answer that question again......

    so....for any men out there....was this, my original answer, correct?

    Jewish men are supposed to put on teffilin every weekday

    but they are not to put it on during Shabbat or other holidays that are to be observed like shabbat

    so, on the first full day of Passover, which was yesterday, which Orthodox Jews observe as if it was shabbat, they would not have put on tefillin

    but the rest of the holiday they will
