Does the size of a ribcage have any direct corrolation with a person's height, weight and flesh depth?

Do mens and womens ribcages differ in breadth, width, circumference and depth?

Do people with larger ribcages have larger internal organs (i.e lungs, liver, spleen etc) or do they more mass/ density?

Are larger internal organs automatically heavier?

And if you're not an MJ fan and just want to use this opportunity to 'diss' him in anyway, don't bother please. Go find something to do ;^)

I'm just curious

We're arriving next Monday and visiting family up in sunny Yorkshire & need a car that won't blow our budget. It'd be returned by 18th Sept if you could drop us off at Stansted again....

LOL...I'm joking insofar as I'd never actually entrust my daughter's life to a stranger, or a dodgy car and all that...I just wanted to see what the replies would be and hope that someone kind with bags of money would help us out. I bought a partial set and can't find any reference to it anywhere online. From the mark it's dated British 50s. It's a pale turquoise/ perhaps robin's egg/ eggshell blue. But white inside with a pretty spray of mixed flowers in 'country spray' style & colour, but not the same. There is a gold gilt edging. The sandwich plate has 'ears' with a little scroll work in relief. Send me a message if you think you can help, I can show you photos if you do.

FOR e.g. only: The Brits in Malaysia (Major G. Mcl. S. Bruce of the Lincs Regiment sarted a Malaysian 'Company' on 1st March 1933), how did they get around the vocal pledges to God when Malaysia (Malaya back then) was a Muslim country? Did the Major have to convert? Did he have to swear allegiance to the King of Malaysia in order to continue the army? Or still pledge allegiance to protect & serve the King of England?

Would you be worried & ask for a CT scan or pass it off as sinusitis? (Bearing in mind CT scans are expensive where I live & we have to pay for medical treatment).

She is being told by unknown sources not to eat so much or her tummy will get bigger & bigger. She barely ate food until the last year or so and just as she is starting to try new foods she's being fed this inane information and has now started picking at whatever food she has in front of her, eating 3 spoons half full then saying she's full! It's breaking my heart, she's only 4, how do I curb it? Can I curb it? I told her if she here's those words to tell that person firmly they're wrong, because she exercises and if you exercise and eat healthy your tummy does not get bigger, but will it work!!??? HELP...

So whenever lights turned red spikes pop up...the people breaking the law and crossing them wouldn't get very far would they? And stopping car thieves would be easier. Wouldn't you think twice about breaking a red light if it meant having to replace at least 2 of your tyres???? Good idea or not?

As I live in a tropical country all our bathrooms are tiled floor to ceiling & remain mostly wet, I can't add carpets or curtains. Also the ceiling is really high 12ft+- and EVERY little noise echoes so loudly when I'm in bed & hubby is there I can hear every little drip, drop & plop (it's en suite too) and it drives me NUTS! It reverberates around the room and I just don't wanna hear what is being emitted form what orifice...yeuch!!!

Suggestions please?

If I built a small fire with wood in my BBQ which is metal with a lid & a vent on top to let smoke out and it was inside a smallish, sealed 'smokehouse' with the (pr-cured) fish & meat hanging above, would is smoke them effectively?

Obviously it would need constant attention to keep the fire burning, I thought I'd use a base of usual charcoal topped up with dampish tree branches all cut up....or am I way of the mark?

I'm devastated! I haven't been for 3wks because I'm so deeply upset! I'm already huge, it took a lot of courage to attend a gym and yet after all that hard work, 2 areas were BIGGER then before!!!! I could cry. I lost 2-3cm off my thighs and around my chest but my abs & arms grew!!!! Please help, I'm confused, depressed& feel it's all so useless!

I've heard it used on Asian English speaking TV and it sounds horribly wrong!
