  • Why do people think that cats are less smart than dogs?

    For instance:

If you put a pill in a cat's food bowl, it will eat everything but the pill.

If you put a pill in a dog's food bowl, it will eat everything

Cats can be trained to do tricks such as fetching, siting, staying, etc. However, they choose whether or not they want to do it and only will train if they absolutely love their owner.

Dogs don't refuse and just learn the tricks.

Cat catches animal and is able to hold it gentle in their mouth, in my cats cases, without any harm.

Dog catches animal and most can't control how harsh they hold it and crush it.

Cats hunt by themselves, one on one.

Dogs hunt with a pack, many on one. Unfair

Cats are trained to clean themselves by their mother

Mother dog doesn't train dogs to clean themselves

Cats can easily be trained by its mum or owner to use a kitty litter at a young age

Dogs poop anywhere. Few of them use set area

I've taught my cat to play hide-and-seek-tips and it knows many words, including my name, out, no, i love you, hide-and-seek-tips, sachet, their names, families names, hello, bye, etc.

  • My Best Friend keeps asking me if she is fat everyday?

She asks me literally every school day and is very concerned about her weight. Once she asked me this in primary school and I told her the truth, that she was a bit over weight. Now she has forgotten this (I think), and each time she asks me if she is fat, my automatic response is, "No, you are just curvy, stop being so concerned about your looks when you have a wonderful personality." The last part is true but she isn't curvy, she is defiantly fat and is getting bigger every year. I'm her best friend and should tell her the truth but I've lied to her for 4 years, just to get out of the awkward situation. Should I tell her the truth or not?

Just to make things clear, I don't care if she was the ugliest person in the world, she would still be my best friend because she is so amazing. Also, she lies to me to like when I ask her if my voice is fine because I have a slushy voice and she says it's perfectly clear. It isn't because I'm still bullied for it and my mum tells me I still need heaps of work.

  • I believe Jesus has sinned?

Remember when he took the men away from their wives and they are known as the disciples? Think of their wives! I wouldn't be happy if someone took my man away from me one day!!

  • Why do some people expect cats to like them automatically?

Why can't they understand that cats have to earn peoples trust and that they aren't robots?

  • Help me choose a future job?

I'm 16, tall and very beautiful (blonde with blue eyes, hourglass figure, long legs) . I am great at art but don't want to do paintings all day!! I am a black belt in Taekwondo. I love camping, rock climbing, tree climbing, going to awesome parks and theme parks, and just anything outdoors which is fun! My personality is hard to explain. I'm a nice person, people who don't know me think I'm shy but I'm pretty outgoing and can get really crazy, in a fun way. I love animals apart from dogs, leaches, cockroaches, mosquitoes, etc. I'm pretty smart about acient history which I find fascinating at times, especially about ancient Egypt. I love movies like comedies, adventure movies, and action.

So that's some stuff about me. Please make a list of the jobs you think are suited to me??

  • I want to be an actress but my mum says I can't?

She says I should do a job that reflects on my hobbies like me being good at art. I just don't want a boring art job like Art Gallery curator or a person who picks photos for Magazines!

I don't even know if I'm good at acting or not, I've never really tired. I have done some acting at school for fun and was really good and acted naturally, I became the character. But my mum doesn't know if I'm good or not or anything. She says acting is an unreliable job. You may have to wait and wait and wait for a role for you to come up.

I understand but what else can I be which actually sounds interesting?

  • How to pronounce S sound?

Where exactly do you position the tongue if you want to learn it the version behind the front teeth but not touching the front teeth. I speak english but can't pronounce sss. I get bullied for it and when i ask my mum for help, she sees i say it so the airflow is not centered, meaning air escapes on the sides of my mouth. This causes a "slushy" noise. My mum doesn't know how to explain how to position the tongue so the airflow is centered with no "slush". She just says, i don't even know how you can say sss incorrectly when I don't even have a lisp. Please help!!!!

  • My mum said I was wrong when I was certain I was right?

She was telling me about something to do with the curtains and said something I had no clue what she was talking about so I told her I didn't remember. She told me that I have a bad memory because she told me the other day in my room (about me finding the ends of the curtains in a box- sounds silly right). I told her, no, you were in my sister's room talking to my sister and she found the box. Then she called me a liar.

My sister, finally started to take notice of what we were arguing about and she told my mum I was right, that my mum was in her room and she indeed found the box. My Mum said sorry but to me, it doesn't seem enough. She called me a liar! I HATE BEING CALLED A LIAR BECAUSE I LITERALLY NEVER LIE UNLESS I HAVE TO!

  • Do you want to know how to lose weight?

Believe me, what you have to do to lose weight is simple. Doing it is harder.

    Food

    1. Drop your portion sizes- around half a plate of food per meal.

    2. Only eat when you are hungry. Don't snack in between meals, unless you are hungry.

    3. You can eat anything, as long as it's in moderation.

    4. You may have to give up some usual saturated fats for a while because this may be stopping you from losing weight. Keep to a minimal.

    Exercise

    1. Do more exercise than eating

    2. When you can, then do exercise (such as choosing stairs over an escalator)

    3. Join a sport (Taekwondo, kick-boxing, swimming, cricket, etc)

    4. Do fun energetic things such as going to the park and moving about (kick a ball about)

Honestly, to have the body you want, you have to make this a

  • How do you pronounce 's'?

Where is the tongue positioned exactly? If you can say 's' properly, then please put your tongue in that position and describe it as best a possible.

    1. Is the tongue flat on the floor of your mouth?

    2. Is your tongue really thin in this position or can it be a bulge? Is the tip of the tongue touching the bottom teeth?

    3. How to get your tongue to touch the sides of your bottom teeth.

    4. How to blow the air out and where to blow air towards it. How?

    5. How much of the mouth is open when pronouncing s? Is it almost all closed or a big smile?

Try to answer all 5 questions. Thanks! Oh, I don't have a lisp btw, just tongue positioning issues.
