If the federal government can use the supremacy clause to outlaw a harmless plant for national security reasons, does the 10th Amendment do anything other than allow states to make laws the federal government isn't interested in making? Are we not then a unitary government, just a lazy one?

HSV-1 = herpes simplex type 1. I had a cold sore that got infected, it's healing now and doesn't look too bad im not even sure if it's a cold sore anymore. My skin on the back of my hands is constantly getting really dry. I've never had this problem so much before. I've been taking antibiotics for an infection, and I got a cold sore a while ago, could one of these be the reason?

I just remember my health teacher from freshman year saying that if we ever got a rash on the back of our hands that could mean a serious genital disease, the one from keeping tampons in too long... but I don't do that.

I got a cold sore a little while ago and just as it was going away it got infected. My doctor gave me antibiotics, and I'm on my 3rd morning out of 10, it hasn't done anything noticeably yet. It's been pussing, it's so gross, then it dried and forms a yellowish scab. I've been missing school and hiding in my room. I just really want it to go away so I can get back to my life.

Should I try and take off the dried pus? It's not a scab.
