Does sex hurt for the first time?

It really depends on the person and no one can tell you it will/will not hurt with a 100% guarantee, but here are a few tips:

1) Be sure you are ready to have sex and be sure you use condoms.

2) Your state of mind has a lot to do with your experience, so ensure your calm and not stressed/in a rush.

3) Foreplay is an important part of sex because it arouses the female which causes natural lubrication to be secreted.

4) Although you produce natural lube, you will most likely need artificial lubrication and I would suggest something like "astroglide" or the like. K-Y can work but isn't the best. Baby Oil isn't suggested. Be sure to lube the condom & yourself. For your first time, more lube is better so put a towel down under you to catch the "excess."

5) Be sure your boyfriend is very willing to go slow and listen to you. If he isn't willing to do that you are almost guaranteed to have a lot of pain.

6) Nothing can ensure you will have zero pain, so you have to at least expect a little, especially at the beginning and end.

7) You will most likely bleed so be prepared for that. Once you have finished be sure to use the restroom to prevent a UTI. You can use toilet paper, but I prefer to use a soft washcloth with warm water to clean up afterward.

8) You may be sore for a few days and you may continue to bleed, just use liners/pads and petroleum jelly (Vaseline) or lube to coat the sore area's until they heal because urine will cause stinging pain due to the microscopic tears you will receive. Not matter how often you have sex, you will more than likely end-up with tears each time you have sex but it does get better and eventually you no longer need Vaseline afterward.
