My Grandpa is turning 92 and we wanted to get him some books for his birthday. The types of books that he usually likes are historical books, religious books, self help books about being happy and staying positive, and chick lit. He really liked me before you by Jojo Moyes and his favorite presidents are FDR and Reagan so any books about them would be great. With regards to books like Me Before You I would like them to be happier than that ending but do you have any recommendations similar to the types of books I mentioned?

This is my 3rd year I was asked to do a march madness bracket and I do not follow basketball. I have asked this question the past two years and the answers I got from asking it last year actually helped me win the bracket so I am asking again. Any suggestions of who I should pick at the different levels would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to apply for an internship and want to email the place to ask them a question but was unsure if I need to put a comma in a certain place. The sentence is something along this line "Regarding my application I was wondering . . . ". Do I need a comma between application and I so it would read "Regarding my application, I was wondering . . . ".

I am trying to construct my resume and was wondering if I should put all of the colleges I attended under education or just the one I am going to get the degree from. I went to a 4 year college for my first year and decided that I did not like it so I transferred to a community college for the second year. After that I transferred back to a four year college and I am in my senior year. When I graduate I would have been at this school for 2 years. Should I list all of the colleges I went to. I am trying to apply for an internship this year that deals with my major so I am going to put all of the relevant coursework that I took and was wondering if I should put all of my relevant coursework under the school that I am going to get my degree from even if I did not take the class at that school. Also, if I just put the college I am going to get my degree from should I put the full dates I attended college or just the dates I attended that college. Thanks.

I am applying for an internship and it asks for a confidential letter of recommendation. This is the first time I have ever needed a confidential letter of recommendation so I was wondering do I have the person who is writing the letter of recommendation actually send the letter or should they send it to me and then I send the letter? Also should I provide them with a stamp and an envelope when I ask them to write me a letter?

Is there any portable bluetooth wireless speakers that allow you to play multiple speakers from a device like an iphone so the speakers can be played throughout the house. I have one of the small circular ihome speaker but it only allows one speaker per device. Is there any speaker that allows you to sync more than one speaker from one device to be played at the same time or has that not been invented yet?

This year I decided to start my first vegetable garden and I was getting a lot of holes in my plants. I went to a nursery near by and one of the specialists there said it looked like I had these small worms that were green and blended into the leaf. She recommended something to spray on the plants and that seemed to be working but my zucchini plant is now having other problems. My zucchini plant just recently started producing zucchini and it had 3 zucchinis growing on the plant. Something bit off the top of the first zucchini I was growing so i decided I was going to put chicken wire around the sides. When a second zucchini was eaten I covered the top but there were still the tinniest bit of space on the top that was left open. However, it would have been really hard for any bird or animal to get past the chicken wire. I live in Southern California so the only things we really get in our backyard are lizards, rabbits, rats, squirrels, and a few other things that I might have forgotten to mention. The zucchini's were about a half an inch so I was wondering what could be eating my zucchini. Can bugs gnaw through a half an inch of zucchini or is it something bigger. Right now the only thing that could have possibly gotten in was a lizard but I don't think a lizard could bite a zucchini. What do you think?

So i have a paper due soon and I would like to postpone it and my teacher said we could postpone it as long as we turn in a paper stating our paper topic by the beginning of class on the day it is due. What do you think that means? If I turn in my paper topic at the beginning of class do you think it will still count?

P.S. I go to college and it is too late to email my teacher and ask him or else I would. Also, I always get to class early (usually 10 to 15 minutes early) but my teacher is always 2 to 5 minutes late so I would not be able to turn it in before class.

So I have a kind of old phone its an LG Cosmos model #: LG-VN250 and it was sitting on a table while I was sleeping and when I woke up it stopped working. It wont turn on anymore and when I try to turn it on all it does is light up but the screen is black. Is there any way I could fix it or is it completely dead?

I wrote a paper for one of my classes and was thinking of using the same topic for another one of my classes. Is it considered plagiarism if I use some of the same quotes that I used for my first paper. I have/had to use turnitin.com for both my essays so will it flag my paper as being plagiarized.

I remember seeing this music video of theirs and I don't have that much information for it but they were like on a hill or something and they were messing around and at one point they linked arms and started moving their feet from side to side. I just bought an ipod touch and it came in the mail 2 or 3 days ago and i put it in my pocket and when i went to bend down and pick something up it fell out of my pocket onto the concrete and cracked. If i dont have warranty will they exchange my ipod or how much would it cost to replace the glass on my ipod. My ipod still works its just the glass that is cracked.
