The seller's agent said I will need to write two checks - one for earnest money (which I expected) and another for something else. What is that second thing I'll need a check for at the time of signing the contract?

Just cleaned out my closet and I have a lot of clothes that I want out. About 25 pieces that are in new condition. Its all a couple of years old but some of the pants are Dockers Slacks and Tommy Hilfiger or Gap Jeans that were never worn or worn maybe twice and a couple of shirts still have the tags etc. Are these items worth my time ($40+) to take to a resell shop and sell them or should I just drop them at the recycled clothing box or Goodwill or something? I definitely don't want to hassle with ebay and taking photos and shipping etc.

When I go to remote areas for hiking and camping will I still get a signal? For example backpacking on remote mountain trails with a portable unit.

In two years? Nets got Devin Harris with a long-term contract. Dallas got Kidd with an expiring $24 million per year contract. If Dallas parlays that expiring contract into signing D Wade or Chris Bosh then will you consider the trade successful for Dallas?

From this trade NJ got Devin Harris for 5 years while Dallas got Kidd for two years and then get Bosh for three years. Seems like a good deal for Dallas to me, assuming they use Kidd's money to sign Bosh or Wade to play alongside Dirk.

Seems to me his economic policy would be much better than the other two who are both big spenders and will drive up the deficit and inflation rate. The further we get from the republican primaries the more Ron Paul looks like a visionary.

I think we should get to the TRUTH of the matter about Joe the Plumber. His taxes would be the same under either Obama or McCain, right? Because he does not break the $250,000 earnings barrier, right? So for 98% of all small businesses, there is no tax difference between Obama and McCain. So why is this an issue?
