Crystal river Florida in the summer?
My fiancé and I were planning a trip to Crystal river Florida in late May of this year. But we recently learned that the manatees aren't around during the summer months. I was just curious what other things there are to do in the area. We would really like to explore the clear waters but I heard three sisters springs is closed in the summer as well

5 AnswersFootball (American)6 years agoWhat should I do with my money?
A little background on myself I am 23 years old in grad school and have no debt or anything like that. I have roughly $3,000 I would like to do something with. I originally thought a cd or savings account would be a good idea but interest rates are basically non existent. So now I am thinking about opening a Roth IRA. What do you all think? Any other suggestions.
3 AnswersPersonal Finance6 years agoLenovo y510p?
Hello, I do not know much about laptops but I found a Lenovo y510p laptop for sale in my area it comes with a razor naga epic mouse, a cooler master cooler, and a cooler master storm keyboard. Everything appears to be in good shape aside from the mouse which lacks its wireless capability due to it missing the wireless base. The price for all of this is $500. Is that a good deal? I'm only buying to flip. I saw them for sale on Amazon for $750 but I was just curious if you all thought I'd be able to sell it.
Laptops & Notebooks6 years agoBuying used cell phones?
So I have bought a few used cell phones and flipped them and made a good profit. I thought I was doing everything right. I was checking IMEI numbers meeting at the carriers store checking to make sure everything worked on the phone. But today I stumbled across an article that talked about how checking IMEI numbers means nothing. That the person can easily report the phone stolen after you buy it and they end up with the money you paid them and a new phone and you end up with a blacklisted brick. It also mentioned how if the person still owes money on the phone and you purchase it unknowingly that it will be blacklisted if they default on payments. I was just curious is there any way I can be safe about buying phones used? I dont want to be ripped off or rip anybody off. I am thinking about just stopping right now while I am ahead.

3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks6 years agoHow much timber could I get off 20 acres?
So I am looking at some property in Iron county Missouri. If I bought some of this land I would only buy 20 acres. It is selling at $1,500 an acre but I think I could get it for a little less. I am just curious if anyone could give me a rough estimate on how much I could get back from cutting the timber (selective harvest). I was told the property was selectively harvested 15 years ago and has marketable timber on it. Here is a link remove the space http://www.landwatch.com/ Iron-County-Missouri-Land-for-sale/pid/200041097
1 AnswerRenting & Real Estate6 years agoOccupational therapy school?
I am applying to three occupational therapy programs this fall. They are as follows the University of Missouri, Rockhurst University, and IUPUI. My statistics are a cumulative GPA of 3.54 and a prerequisite GPA of around a 3.58 or so. I am EXTREMELY nervous I wont get in to any of these schools. Can someone tell me if I have a chance of getting in with these stats. My stats would be higher but my first two years of college I was a criminal justice major and did not try my hardest but ever since I decided on occupational therapy I have received nothing less than a 3.8 GPA each semester.

2 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)8 years agoHelp improve chances of getting in OT school?
Hello, I just transferred to a major university last semester from a small community college. I am working on a bachelors in Health Sciences because it includes my prereqs for OT school. I am looking for ways to maximize my chances of getting accepted. I have good grades but I am not involved on campus at all. I was thinking about trying to join some clubs or a fraternity or something so I could say I was involved when I apply and to meet people. Will this help my chances of getting accepted in OT school?

1 AnswerChemistry8 years agoWhat is happening to guns in stores?
What is happening to guns and ammunition in department stores such as Wal Mart, and Bass Pro. The local Wal Marts are no longer selling ammunition and Bass Pro was almost out of hand guns and ammunition for them and rifles. I live in Missouri are they actually tightening up on gun sales and ammunition in preparation to outlaw them or are these stores just no longer carrying them? I am concerned.
3 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police8 years agoI need college advice?
I just transferred to a large university from a small community college and switched my major to fisheries and wildlife... I am in an ichthyology class (required) and it seems that it will be impossible to pass. The instructor is really nice and friendly but doesn't use power points or anything you take notes on what he says most of which is in scientific terms the exams are essay questions. The lab is just as bad identifying fish and body parts of fish in scientific terms if spelled incorrectly its counted wrong. I really don't have a strong interest in fisheries and wildlife. I mean I love the outdoors and wildlife particularly herptofauna. But working as a game warden or fish and game agent isn't appealing to me. But I couldn't find any other major that caught my attention so I chose this one. I don't know what to do

4 AnswersRenting & Real Estate9 years agoIphone 5 service issues.?
I got the Iphone 5 the other day and I am having some problems with it. I live in the country and usually only get one or two bars here my previous phone the Iphone 4 was always able to pick up these one or two bars and I could send text messages and occasionally accept phone calls. However, my new Iphone 5 takes forever to pick up service 75% of the time I cannot send a message and last night I completely lost service until this morning when I left my house for classes. I have also had some problems when I would go into town my phone would not pick up 4g coverage and would bounce from full service to one bar until I restarted the phone. Is there anything i can do to improve the phone's service or is the Iphone 5 just worthless. I cannot believe that my old Iphone got better service than this new one.

A ball is dropped from 20ft above the ground. At what height is one half of its energy KE and one half potential? Using energy considerations only, what is the velocity of the ball just as it hits the ground?
I am guessing the first part is 10ft, but I cannot figure out the second part. Can someone please tell me the answer and how to solve this problem?
1 AnswerPhysics9 years agoI need some study tips?
I need some study tips for my college classes. I never really studied in high school or most of my college career, but its time to mature and get my gpa up 3.25 currently :/. The way I have been studying is by reading the books for my classes and reading my notes over and over. This works for me most the time but is there anything else I can add or improve upon in my study regimen to help me remember information better?
