Im licensed through 6.4 and talked with digidesign extensively. they have discontinued all versions of the pro tools free version downloads. does anyone know where I can find one ?? please help, need it for an out of town session on a laptop so I can edit and save a little time before getting it home to the studio.

I have found that most don't and its astounding to me with all the handicap information on the card to plug in your information and see where your going to be weak.

I run XP and have a few dated games like COD 1 that run off dx7 tech. the game itself comes with a version of 9.0b and has been working on 9.0c for quite a while. cod 1 in particular doesnt like it when I update my video drivers and especially the mutimedia drivers. Can I update to dx10 without repercussions on the old video drivers? and if it fails where is a dx remover that costs nothing?
