I'll be going into seventh grade at the Middle school as a new student D: I'm so scared! I've seen the campus and its so big, I got lost when I walked around it and I'm worried that I'll do the same on the first day of school, August 23. I'm so scared! I went to a South Pasadena school for fourth and fifth grade but for sixth I went somewhere else and kind of lost contact with my old friends. The ones that I did keep in touch with have changed SO much and I don't know if we would be friends anymore. But are the kids friendly? What about the staff? Anything special I should know about, like events or clubs or something? Oh and what's the policy on cell phones?

Please answer! I don't want to go into this having no clue what's happening!

Is this pointless, or what?

Well, we're having a science fair at at school and I wanted some good topics. I don't want something as original as a volcano. I want something interesting and uncommon. Oh, and if you could put some information with your topic, that would be great. Explain some of it to me, like how it works and why this happens when you pour this onto it.

I want the answer to two questions, actually. If you can answer them.

1. What is the purpose of OUR lives?

2. What is the purpose of life itself?

I'm asking for opinions, there is no right answer to this question. Best Answer will go to the person who has an interesting answer to both questions and explains why in detail.

When I was 8 years old, we had a small (fat) cat. We loved her until Christmas. . . *dramatic pause* ;) We had just put up our 7 foot tall Christmas Tree. It sure was a beauty. We had just put on all our (unfortunately) glass ornaments on it. It was night, we had just had dinner and I was practicing piano in the living room where the Christmas Tree was. Then. . . I heard RUSTLING. *horrified screams* ;D I turned and saw my kitten climbing the tree. I laughed, thinking it was cute and funny. I watched her. Soon, she was at 6 and a half feet high. That's when things went wrong. She tripped on a branch (or something like that) and 4 ornaments crashed to the floor. She froze and scrambled down the tree, causing more ornaments to crash to the ground. *horrified screams* that made her more scared, which caused her to go faster, which caused more ornaments to fall than the last time. By the time Mom and Dad got there, she had gotten to the floor and only a couple ornaments remained on the tree. My sister was horrified. I thought it was funny. *astonished gasps* (until I saw Mom and Dad were furious.) Man, that was the Christmas of my life. I'll never forget. ;)

My friend is very pale and has dark brown eyes. VERY dark, you could mistake it for black. I've never seen anyone having pale skin and dark brown eyes. Is this rare? If so, why and how rare is it?

Okay, a man is trying to get to true land, when there's a fork in the road. One way goes to true land, and another goes to lie land. There are no signs at all to tell you which road leads to where. There is a woman in the middle of the road. You don't know if she's from true land or it she's from lie land. What question can you ask her to find out which way is true land? I hope one of you can find the answer! ;)
