  • what are some icebreaker games ?

    im looking for some 5-10 min icebreaker games for youth teens. they already know each other so they dont need to introduce themselves or get to know one another, but then i guess it couldnt hurt to know each other better.

    I made up a game involving pegs but not sure if it would work out. can you tell me your thoughts?

    You have 2 teams, and one team is blind folded. the aim of the game is to "peg" the other team. (i mean put as many pegs on the other team as possible) but if the blindfolded person tags you then you can no longer "peg" anymore. And the team with the least amount of pegs wins.

    does it sound weird and complicated? and provide ways to improve it or suggest any other icebreaker games :)

    thanks

  • help me with physics!?

    ok, so the experiment that i have to do is standing waves on wire. what i have got are the size of the loops, wavelength ( i calculated it from the average of the loops and hoping thats its correct), the hanging mass and the frequency. What they want us to do is to find the velocity and the uncertainty. for the velocity i got the frequency and multiplies it to the wavelength is this correct? and how on earth to i find the uncertainty? (I have the uncertainty for the loops and wavelength)

    Also i need to find the tension and the uncertainty? any hints?

    thanks in advance

  • What is the preassure in the can ?

    A gas bottle contains gas at a preassure 11060 kPa and has a volume 550cm^3. It is at 31.6'C. On a hot day a BBQ is lit next to the gas bottle. This increases the temp of the gas bottle to 43.8'C. What is the preassure inside the can now? You may assume that any change to the volume of the can is neglible.

  • how to find the duration of the collision, the maximum acceleration and the impulse during the collision?

    ok so im doing this experiment for collisions for a 0.42kg cart with a bumper and i have to use the data below to find ; the duration of the collision, the maximum acceleration and the impulse during the collision

    @point A--> time=1.3 secs , acceleration= 0m/s^2

    @point B--> time= 2.5 secs, acceleration= 9.52m/s^2

    @point C--> time = 4.4 secs, acceleration= 0m/s^2

  • physics: linear acceleration, torque and tension?

    im doing an experiment for rotational inertia

    im given the hanging mass: 50g and uncertainty as 1.4

    then we are given 3 slope trials with the average becoming: 1.852. <<question: is the uncertaity for the slope the range/2?>>

    we are also given the diameter of the pulley 58.3mm and uncertaity as 0.1

    i need to find the linear acceleration , tension of the string and the torque and moment of inertia.

    i attempted it but it ended up being wrong.

    thanks

  • . What magnitude of force is required?

    1. In a cyclotron (one type of particle accelerator), a deuteron (of atomic mass 2.00 u) reaches a final speed of 11.5% of the speed of light while moving in a circular path of radius 0.530 m. The deuteron is maintained in the circular path by a magnetic force. What magnitude of force is required?

    The average speed of a nitrogen molecule in air is about 6.70 102 m/s, and its mass is about 4.68 10-26 kg.

    a) If it takes 3.10 x10^-13 s for a nitrogen molecule to hit a wall and rebound with the same speed but moving in an opposite direction (assumed to be the negative direction), what is the average acceleration of the molecule during this time interval?

    b)What average force does the molecule exert on the wall?

  • A cart moves along an inclined plane .?

    A cart moves along an inclined plane . Assume that there is no friction. The mass of the cart is M = 1.02 kg, the hanging mass is m = 456 g, and the angle is 8' . Given that g = 9.8 ms-2 what is the acceleration of the cart along the slope, in ms-2? Give your answer to 2 sig. fig.

    <cart is moving up along the incline>

    Note: Your answer should be positive if the cart moves up the slope
