Can I really buy my neighbor's house for a few hundred bucks?

I mean along the lines of a person from the west wearing a Sari or other clothing typically worn everyday but also typically worn by a certain ethnic group.

If you are from India would you be offended if you saw a white woman in a Sari?

I have been in the habit of backing up my downloaded songs from i-tunes so that if i crash or get a new compy i won't lose em. Can I do the same with the apps?

i don't know if it's common practice to give a gift to the godparents, but i think it'd be nice to. Any suggestions?

I deodorized the dog with baking soda and peroxide followed by a shampoo with great results, but i don't know what to use on his leather spiked collar. Should i use a similar mix? Right now it's sitting in a baggie full of baking soda. I'd just replace the collar except i just bought it Monday night and it was fairly expensive for a dog collar.

I tend to prefer just a little butter on my bagel over any other choice.

It's a kodak easy share - was taking pictures at a fire scene and it fell lens side down into a shallow pool of water. I took it out right away and dried the surface and shortly afterward took out the battery, and popped open the front cover. It looks pretty dry but the lenses are definitely foggy. I have it sitting in the sun right now. Am I screwed?? Have not turned it on yet.

i closed part of my shirt in the car door and now it has a grease stain on it. i sprayed a little oxy-deep carpet cleaner last night but it didn't seem to help much. Any other ideas?

We were talking about it last night and i got to thinking that the magic Kingdom at night may be a little creepy with most of the lights turned out. and you probably can't leave the room once you're in there and wander the deserted park at night

I have a programable thermostat that has settings for weekdays and weekends and 4 settings - wake leave return and sleep. I try to keep it comfortable in the house, but I also want to be energy efficient. I live in NJ and the winters can be cold - any suggestions on what i should program it to?

It's a concord blue - streptocarpella for you plant people. And it looked like it was doing great. I watered it before I left Friday and when i came back into work it was all brown and dead looking. I should note that my office is usually extremely hot - around 90 degrees. Could it have gotten too hot over the weekend? Or maybe it was the opposite -the heat was off and it got too cold??

I trimmed most of the brown stuff off and am left with a sad looking plant. Is there any way I can revive it? Any ideas on what happened so I can prevent it?
