I bought a pair of jeans that are 99% cotton. I'd like them to shrink, but not too much. What is the best way to go about shrinking them a little?

At this link Probst is discussing having 2 seasons a year filmed in the same location to save money. One will be a season of new contestants and the other one for returning contestants.
