How to stop kitten from attacking hands?
I have a 13 week old kitten who insists on attacking my hands and legs ALL the time. I can't pat him because he will bite and claw. I've tried tapping his nose and saying a firm 'no' but he doesn't listen. Any ideas what to do?

8 AnswersCats9 years agoGood signs with my new kitten and old cat?
I've been slowly introducing my new kitten to my 11yr old cat. Both have not shown any signs of aggression.
The old cat jumped up on the bed and the kitten was with me there. After a few minutes of staring the old cat settled down; her ears were forward and her eyes half closed. The kitten followed her and did the same. When the kitten came over to me and started playing the old cat left. Was this a good meeting? They have only been meeting for about four days. In that time they have sniffed noses a lot and been very shy of one another.
4 AnswersCats9 years agoCan I let my cat meet my kitten face to face?
It's been three days since I brought a new kitten home and I have been trying to introduce him to my 11yr old female cat. So far there has been no signs of aggression. When they meet (kitten is in a crate) they have alert ears and do not crouch or hiss. Is it a good idea to allow the kitten to come out of the crate? Or should I wait a little longer yet?
My older cat used to allow strays into the house and would be around them outside at times, but she has been attacked quite a bit and is timid at times. I'm worried she'll get aggressive. Any tips would be great :)
2 AnswersCats9 years agoMy cat doesn't like new kitten, help?
I got a kitten today and my 11yr old cat happened to find it before I could place it in its own room. I watched for signs of aggression as they met. The kitten was real happy to sniff noses and it seemed so was the older cat, they sniffed noses and then the older cat started to make a loud noise, like a drawn out meow. She had her ears forward and alert, wasn't fluffed up or arching, but continued to make this noise until I removed the kitten. Was this bad? How can I tell when her reaction means curious or aggressive?

9 AnswersCats9 years agoHow to introduce kitten to old cat?
I own an 11yr old cat who has only ever lived on her own. She has gotten on with stray cats in the past, going so far as letting them come inside and sleep or eat her food.
She also accepted a 10 week old Lab puppy for a few days when one stayed at the house. She can be grumpy however and I wanted some tips on how to make the kitten and her get along peacefully and without stress. (The kitten will be a male and around 8 weeks when he arrives.)

5 AnswersDogs9 years agoWhat is the average selling price for a Chocolate Labrador puppy?
I have been talking with a breeder who has a Chocolate Labrador puppy for sale for $1000. And I have also been taking with an owner who is selling her puppies for just $500.
The only difference between them is that the breeders puppy is microchipped.
I want to get a healthy puppy and I am curious if $1000 is reasonable or a bit much?
:)
