What trait do you find evident about Obama by reading this article?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_obama_las_vegas
I will share my initial reaction;
Why does Obama think the "people" need him to advise them on how to spend their money?
This is the same trait most all liberal elitists have...they actually think they know better...they know what is best for the rest of us...we are just to stupid to make any kind of decisions without their guidance. Just as his remarks about his failed health care reform policies..."he just needs to do a better job of explaining it to us" In other words he needs to "dumb it down" His words were just too big for us common folk. Get a clue Mr. President...the people are more intelligent and informed than you think they are...
6 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoThis news article from Toronto speak volumes about the Canadian Health Care system the US hopes to emulate?
Their politicians come to the US for treatment and surgery....makes you think doesn't it?
13 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoTo the people who claim that the deficit is Bush's fault, do these facts influence you at all?
Take a look at these graphs. Hopefully facts will mean something to you people...but I kind of doubt it will matter...once you have your opinion...don't let the truth change your mind, isn't that the liberal mantra?.
4 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow do the Libbys feel about Obama's religious beliefs?
I was reading this article and I was wondering how the liberals react to this article
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/president-obamas-ye...
Since they despise Bush and Palin for their religious faith...do you also despise Obama?
27 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo you agree with this audio letter to Obama?
Please take a few moments to listen to it...he makes a lot of sense
4 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhich Obama lie told this weekend should we believe?
Valerie Jarret said Obama has saved/created thousands of jobs
Axelrod said it was over two million
Gibbs said it was million and a half
One would think that they would get together and synchronize their stories before they get on national TV and spew.
4 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoBased on answers in the Yahoo Community, can I get some clarification?
Do guns kill people?
24 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo Liberals like Cindy Sheehan realize that Bush and Cheney are no longer in office?
What the hell? Maybe she is afraid to be labeled a racist for protesting Obama
14 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo you find it interesting that the Gov't regulations placed on automobiles will drive up the price?
of the Tata Nano from $2,500.00 to over $8,000.00 when it reaches us next year?
I find it amazing, that the required "standards" cost over twice as much as the car.
12 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoSince Obama keeps blaming Bush for everything isn't that proof that the job is too much for him to handle?
Seems to me that in any occupation if you keep blaming someone else for all your failures or inabilities to handle your job duties it is a definite admission that the job is too difficult for you to handle. That you aren't qualified for it nor possess the skill to do it. Think about it and apply that logic to any occupation whether it be a basketball coach or the principal of a school or even a paper boy...no matter what if you are hired to do a job and can't do it...things keep getting worse and worse, would your boss accept the excuse that "it was a mess when I got here" well duh....that is pretty much the job description...you handle problems on a daily basis it's what you were hired to do.
What did he think the job of President was going to be...photo ops and world travel...speaking engagements and state dinners?
17 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoCan somebody please explain to me?
Why does the white man get so much blame?
Historically and presently around the planet Muslims are killing Muslims at an alarming rate and black on black violence is and has always been appalling. In parts of Africa slavery is still quite common but it is black Muslims enslaving non-Muslims.....Why do we not hear about this everyday? Where is the outrage?
Yet, people seem to focus on the white man and act as though he is too blame for ALL THE TROUBLES on the planet. Especially the RICH WHITE MAN....
6 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWill the strategy of blaming the Republicans work as a defense for Harry Reid?
OMG...Just as I think that the liberals can not get anymore ridiculous now they are going to blame the Republicans for Harry Reid's comments....you guys never cease to amaze me.
10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIf you compare the US Presidency as that of a ball coach, how would Obama rate?
If you realistically and honestly looked at the some of the responsibilities of the US President and rated Bush he would have had 7 winning seasons and one losing season. Unemployment was at record lows for 7 years, the economy was booming for 7 years, housing starts were at record levels, he responded to the attacks of 9/11 in a manner that has deterred others from trying it, he fixed the vulnerabilities in our security systems that allowed fro 9/11 to happen and he restructured FEMA after their poor performance dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. Clinton had a winning record as well...just thought I'd mention that.
All in all a winning record.....
Now, President Obama....what is his record? He has set records but in the negative way...so far it has been a losing season...nothing has gone right. Yet, as a President just like a coach he recruits his team....he directs his team...if they fail it is his fault. However, he keeps blaming the past President for leaving him with problems....GET A CLUE BARRY there are always problems...huge problems there were problems when Bush took Office and when Clinton took office....it comes with the job, in fact IT IS YOUR JOB TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEMS. Obama brought his own people in....these are his players, with his coaching. What we are seeing is the result of Obama's skills and abilities in dealing with the problems. Not, Bush's Bush is not the coach.
I am a Kentucky basketball fan...the university hired Billy Gillespie as head coach to replace Tubby Smith 3 years ago...Billy's record for his 2 years as head coach were horrible. So he was fired and a new coach was hired, John Calipari, in his first season as UK head coach he is currently 16 wins zero losses. He never blamed Gillespie for anything...he never had an excuse. It's HIS JOB he owns it. If Calipari had not been this successful would it have been fair to blame the past coach?
Just a comparison. Obama still blames Bush for everything and his fan are OK with that.....Get real people, Obama is not doing a good job and many of us are wanting him replaced ASAP.
1 AnswerPolitics1 decade agoWhy was there anger over the article about the stores destroying and disposing of unsold clothing?
H&M and Wal-Mart destroy and trash unsold goods
http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/beauty/h-m-and-wal-...
Is there an epidemic of naked poor people in NYC or anywhere for that matter?
I could understand the outrage if it were food, but clothing? Goodwill Ind. has so much clothing donated that they bundle much of it up and send it to Africa or to a place that shreds it. I bet the Salvation Army does the same.
Who is actually the greedy party in this? Is it the people who have a closet full (or a grocery cart full) of clothes but they want more of a selection of FREE stuff or the companies who donate millions to charity but also decide to shred merchandise that they could not sell to a closeout retailer? Why do they have the obligation to provide MORE free merchandise than they already do?
Can you see how the media manipulates the readers? There was never a mention of all the charitable donations these comapnies make annually...the focus was on a few dumpsters full of shredded clothing and all of the sudden "people are angry".
11 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoIs this the scientific evidence of "Climactic Change" we were waiting for?

Please not the date of the article.
The scientists "at the time" assured us that it was irrefutable. I just wonder what the experts will claim 30 years from now.

7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy are the housing projects and the poor sections of any town always so trashy and rundown?
In my city a few years ago the city tore down an older housing project and relocated the residents into new apartments and various parts of the city. Now, these areas which were new only 5 years ago are just as run down and trashy as the old projects were. I understand that some people don't have money but why the mattresses on the street and the busted bottles everywhere, railings tore off the porches, doors hanging off the hinges...trash everywhere. The trash pick up is free the dumpsters are supplied....some residents even vandalized their own HVAC units to steel the copper tubing rendering them inoperable and even tore the aluminum siding off the walls. I guess it was assumed that relocating these people into a better environment would change them in some way......failed experiment.
What kind of mind set is that? I tell you this....it really makes it hard to have compassion and understanding when the people you help behave like wild animals.
8 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoSince some people view capitalism and rich CEOs as bad things that must be remedied, what is better?
What do you feel is a better system? Corporations offer services or material items that we need/use everyday? Who could provide these things better? Is profit a terrible thing to you? Do you think that the low level grunt worker is equal to the executives? Should their paychecks be closer together? Is government the answer? Do you trust that the government can produce the products and provide the services that the people need/want?
Does it bother you how much money Al Gore has made with his global warming agenda? The rich libbys have lots of money too....is that wrong or is it just conservatives who should be stripped of their income to be redistributed? Do you feel that you have a right to get a piece of the income a rich CEO has earned simply because you buy his product?
8 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhat is the derogatory name for the haters/bashers of Christians?
I know the derogatory names used to describe the bigoted people who hate other races of people and who hate homosexuals but I am curious what to call the people who hate Christians. These people are so vocal and unashamed about their hate I wonder if Christians should be protected under the same laws that protect others that are persecuted.
