Jamie the Horse Girl!!

My paint mare will load in a trailer and come out like a little rock star, but the real problem is while she is in the trailer. She completely flips out even as your going down the road she is pawing and she will even try backing up and running through the trailer. I have tried her in stock straight loads, in slant loads. It is all the same. Any advice? I always give her hay, but she is just to freaked to care. I have put her by horses she knows everything I can think of and she is still flipping out inside the trailer. I am afraid she will hurt the trailer or herself. She has scratched her nose up pretty well and still continues to freak. Any advice would be very appreciated!

I know this is some type of dressage bit. My friend just got a new horse and right now the person she got it from is letting her use this bit, but they can't find where to purchase one or even figure out what the bit is. Can you identify this or figure out where you can get a bit like this? This horse needs a softer bit like this and we can't find any bits that work for it yet.

The person needs to be a famous barrel racer that was born Hispanic. Please help me find one. The person can be deceased just need to have enough info to write a short paper 1/2 page.

I just bought an 8 yr old horses that hasnt been ridden in 4 yrs so i have to start all over. I noticed when I lunge her and lead her at the trot mainly and sometimes at the lope (I cant tell much at the lope I am consentrating on her not running away with me lol so she could click then but not sure) I rarely hear it at the walk. I do hear it sometimes when leading at trot. I do not notice it while riding but i am very distracted training her. She is quite out of shape but loosing weight quite well and starting to gain muscle. I was researching and I found a few things saying it was just lack of muscle. She does not like to carry her head low unless shes walking riding, lunging, and leading if I trot her or lope her her head goes up. I have tried lunging with saddle and bridle tying the reins to the stirrups so they tug when she puts up her head and just making her lower her head when I ride her, but she just doesn't do it unless I'm constantly on her about it I read something about how the clicking it can make a difference how they carry there head whats causing it that's why I told you that. So I am just looking for answers. I just would really like to barrel race her but if this means arthritis or something that would be more then just gaining more muscle I will have to stick with trails and WP. I have been really working at her gaining muscles but it doesn't happen overnight. So IDK if the clicking will stop with time.

That is a picture of my horse I need to figure out a good color for her tack. I am pretty much open to anything except pink. And if you can find an example of the color like a halter or something please add the link, because I know you may say lets use for example green is a good color, but green only gives me a general color there are so many shades of green if I can see and example I can easier narrow down my favorites.

Hey, I have a friends house I want to board my horse at I am wonder if there offer is reasonable. They are asking $75-100. My horse would be kept in a large pasture. They have 3 they rotate with. That's just for grazing and hay. I would be feeding my horse at least every other day by myself. I have to pay for the horses grain, no stalls, it has a lean to for protection from rain if it chooses to go under it. And water is available 24/7. They have no arenas just a mares pen and round pen I can use, and a field. They have some trails and a dirt road for trail rides, and I get my own tack spot. It's in the country in a small town (where I live also). Need any more info just ask and I will edit it to add ur information.

I am looking to get this horse, but not sure on its conformation. The seller says she has good speed I would be using her for barrels/gaming over all. I know shes on the chubby side, and with daily excursive and a balanced diet with supplements... How long do you think it will take for the belly to go bye bye?

Here is her info I would like you to know she is $600 I am wondering how much you would price her at in Minnesota if you would like to know the state. I know her owner, and I trust what she says.

13 yr old reg. appaloosa...her name is lake... (brs light my fire, registered name can find on the all breed pedigree) and about 15 hands, she is broke a little past green, but my friend breaks and trains horses for barrels and will do it for free so not worried bout that.

I want to get a horse, but I would have to put up fencing. I would like to fence in 3 acres with a fence line down the middle of it (so I can let the grass grow out on one side while horse is on other) I would just need posts and wire (would like 3 rows of wire on the posts) all barbless wire (no need to electrify it either) already have a gate so dont need to add that in. and i have people to help put it up. also is tape fencing cheaper and by how much, and with tape/wire fencing how far apart should i put the posts?

My friend is using a Tom Thumb bit on her horse, and the horse has a soft mouth but she wont believe me. I have tried to tell her, she keeps complaining she throws her head to much when its always if her reins are to tight or shes pulling back on them. She has normal snaffle bits and hackamores but refuses to use them.

She is also using a Saddle Blanket that is made to put over a saddle pad, so it is not efficient enough to keep her horses back comfortable and prevent back issues that may come about someday. She has the correct pads for using so its not a money problem.

For both she says whats shes using has been working, so she doesn't see a harm in continuing the use. Me, and my other horse friends that know her have been trying to convince her, but she just wont budge. If you can find website links that tell you about how you need to use this stuff if your having these issues or to prevent future issues that would be great. I am going to send her an email with what you guys say to hopefully save her horse from pain and discomfort.

Please post a link to any pedigrees with her you can find. I would also like to know if her blood lines are considered good. She is a solid black paint mare about 9yrs old so shes born in 2001 I think. Thanks for your help.

This last summer I had my first fall off a horse. She bucked and swung her butt really hard and I went flying. I got away with no broken bones, but I was not able to get back on I could barley move my right arm. So I missed the when you fall off get back on opportunity, I would have liked to have taken. Now it has almost been a year and I only get to ride horse at my friends house, but I am struggling to stop tensing up and getting myself to lope down the field with my friends. I trust the horse, but I just need help on how to relax again I am getting better. I just need advice on rebuilding that confidence I miss SO much!! I just can not quiet grasp it.

I need to find thin saddle blankets in neon green and neon orange. Price needs to be reasonable. Online stores are nice. I have thicker blankets for under it. I am taking up barrel racing, and not able to afford $100 blanket, so I found it way more economical to take the ones I have that work great and make em look good with a thin blanket. That way I can change colors. Me and my friend are doing this together so we need to be able to switch are colors easily. So we can match are horses we choose to use.

I am really good at singing Bless the Broken Road, and I need to find some other songs to sing. Church appropriate songs please. I would like to find more for me to sing in church and just for fun. I am pretty good at Country music. I just need some directions. I have people that can sing with me higher and lower I am just lead. I also have piano, guitar, and drum players if needed for the song. So please suggest.

I have very long thick hair, but I am very busy learning how to barrel race. I am going to start going to shows by spring or earlier. I need easy to manage hair. It needs to be short, yet long enough to ponytail it. I need to be able to wash it FAST! and put it up with ease. Any suggested hair shampoos and gels... would be gladly appreciated. Pictures are always nice to.
