Recently just purchased a new AR in .308 and decided it s time to put some glass on it. Not very knowledgable in scopes. Went to pick up a Nikon M-308 today but was sold out, but seen there was a pretty good promotion going on with Leupolds. $100 mail in rebate and $50 gift card. Trying to keep the budget up to around $500. Any suggestions on model s or personal usage will be welcomed. Thanks!

I'm 20 years old, will be 21 in less than a month and am going to purchase my own handgun. My buddies are going to take theirs to the range so I can test them out and see if any spark my interest. My question is, legally am I allowed to take my mothers handgun with me, (registered in her name, it was her fathers before he passed) to the range without her being there with me? I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to but wasn't 100% sure. Thanks for the info.

I have handled/own all types of guns ranging from shotguns, hunting rifles, to an AR-15 but I don't have much experience with handguns. I've shot a 9mm and my buddies .45 but only a few mags of each. I've decided to purchase my first handgun and have narrowed it down between either a glock 19 or glock 23. I guess all I'm wondering is if the less recoil and price of ammo of the 9 outweighs the pros of a .40 cal. Keep in mind after enough practice, I tend to carry whichever I buy. Thanks for the input.

I've been looking around for a new dirtbike and I finally found one I'm interested in. I found a 2009 Honda Crf250x for $3,800. Looks like it's in great shape and I know new they're right around $7,500. The bluebook value for that make/model is $3,500 when purchasing from a dealer. Just wondering what's a fair offer I could make?

I have one tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous. All my other interviews have been face to face and for minimum wage type jobs (20 years old). Just wondering what type of questions to expect so I can be as prepared as possible.

I've decided I want to buy an iPad but don't wanna break the bank on getting one. I've found an iPad mini 16GB(that's enough for me) and an iPad 2 16GB both new for the same price. I'm mainly just going to be using it at home for games/youtube etc. I guess it comes down to is, is does the bigger screen of the 2 outweigh the newer software of the Mini? Please don't recommend a different type of tablet. Thanks for the help.

I work at Meijer, it's my second job and long story short I hate it, The people that are not even my boss feel like they can be my boss and make me do whatever they feel like telling me, I NEVER get out when I'm scheduled too and it's not until I tell them I'm leaving when they say "We can't let you leave" (exact words) I was scheduled to work Monday and something came up so I called on Friday, 4 days before hand to ask if i could switch my Monday shift to Tuesday which I had scheduled off, of course they said no because i didn't "request time off". They pretty much told me if I didn't come into work Monday that I'd be fired but I couldn't miss the situation that came up (another job interview, which i beileve i got) all in all i know its the right thing to do is leave a 2 weeks notice but I checked my schedule for next week and I'm only scheduled for one day and the has it takes to get there is almost half of what I'll get paid for that one day, obviously i wouldn't use them as a reference in the future but I just cannot stand working there. Also showing that I only work one day next week, pretty much leads me to beileve they plan on firing me anyways because it's not even in the department I hired in, it's a department that they had me in a few days a week because they were running low on workers. I should also say, I'm only 18 and have no bills so having no job for a little while isn't a big deal as long as I find one relatively soon after this place.

non ppr league I give Jamaal Charles straight up for Chris Johnson... I obviously know about Johnson's game last week and last season but for some reason I really think he will return to form (not 2000 yards form but you know what i mean) I like Charles but if Chris Johnson can go back to the way he used to be it would be huge.
