Job interviewing tips?

Ok so I'm 18 years old, I have been thru an interview before at Meijer (where i currently work) and they actually had me interview 3 separate people before I was hired, I wasn't that nervous for any of them (maybe because I didn't really care if I was hired or not) and I felt like I did well on all 3, now I have an Interview Monday at a location that I really do want the job and really want to do great, My friend knows an assistant manager there and apparently there is 40ish interviews and only 4-5 positions being filled, I guess what I'm asking is what could I do to stand out from the 40 other people being interviewed?

Research the company you are applying to, visit their website and learn all that they are about. Learn what the job you are looking to do calls for. If there is not information on the job specific to that company, look at the same job with similar companies. The more you know about the job and the company going in, the better you will perform at the interview. Knock em dead!

Be as knowledgable as which you could about the organization and the job. Be ready to play up your strengths and your job competencies; they certainly knwo your heritage, and they have got called you in for an interview, so your experience has impressed them come what may. Don't get hung up on the truth that you're entering one more form of job; simply center of attention on the knowledge you have got acquired--that's what they may be fascinated about. Additionally, have a record of questions you would prefer to ask; in an effort to show you're within the enterprise.
