  • Stomach Acidity Problems - 15 Years Old?

I'm a 15 year old male and I've been having stomach acid problems for a couple months now. I basically get stomach acid flowing up depending on the day and what I eat. I went to the doctor and he thought it was Hiatal/Hiatus Hernia from what I told him. I took a test where you poo in a cup and they examine it and I came out negative. Now I'm not to sure what to do. I can reduce the acidity pretty drastically just with water but I want to make sure it isn't something too serious. I calculate everything I eat with MyFitnessPal, which includes vitamins, calcium, calories, etc... And I make sure to hit my numbers every day. Also, it doesn't affect me overnight like a lot of other people. Just within 30 minutes of eating a usually pretty saucey food like pasta. Does anyone know what this could be?

  • Use Parents Money or be Self Made?

Basically, my dads rich and he's willing to buy me and my siblings everything. He's buying my brother an Audi R8 for his 17th birthday to give you an idea. This may be a first for anyone to hear, but I'm just tired of getting spoon fed through everything. I started working myself and I feel so much better when I buy everything with my own money. I have saved over 8k (I know it's not a lot) just in the past few months and I'm thinking of just building on this money to really just do things on my own. Is what I'm doing a bad idea? Should I wait it out till' I start doing stuff on my own?

  • Can a parent drive with me and my driving instructor?

I'm 15 1/2 and my dad really wants me to get my license. I passed the written part of driving, but now I need 2 hours behind the wheel (6 hours in total before I get my full license), but I'm pretty nervous about the whole thing. My older brother told me it was really scary and he's not really helping me relax on the whole thing, but he just said he was being honest. So, anyways I was wondering if maybe my parent could ride in the back of the car while driving with my instructor to make me more comfortable?

  • What Should I do at this Point in my Life?

So basically, I used to be a very athletic kid in middle school. I was always the fastest, most determined, and best all around athlete. As narcissistic and conceited as it sounds, it was true and I got awards for it every year. So after the summer before 8th grade hit, my father decided it would be a good idea for me to home school to advance since I was a straight A student. So he took me out and basically advanced me two grades higher than where I'm supposed to be at. So now fast-forward a couple years. I'm in my senior year of high school (meant to be in my sophomore year) and I'm completely depressed. I feel like I could have done so much. I understand advancing in school should be a good thing, but now I don't really feel like I fit in and I feel with the extra two years I skipped I could have used maturing. What do you guys think I should do? Should I try and find some extracurricular activities and push through what I'm going through and go to college at 15 turning 16. Or should I try and hold myself back a year or so and give myself more time?

  • 15 Year Old Skipped Two Grades, Need Help?

So basically it started out as me having a pretty typical middle school fun life. I had friends and was a steady A student. Then we started traveling a lot due to a divorce and so at around 5th grade I started homeschooling with my brother (one year older than me). So over the course of homeschooling I skipped two grades just because I was generally good at school so my dad started really pushing me. Now a few years have passed and I'm going into 12th grade and I just turned 15 meaning I would be going to college at 16 which I can understand is quite common nowadays. So anyways enough with the rambling I just wanted to give a good understanding of my situation. I'm trying to fit in more with people closer to my age group and as naive as it may sound, maybe meet some girls. So I don't know if I should hold off a year of school after senior year or do some sort of extracurricular activities which I am doing basketball right now. I just basically want to meet more people and have a little more fun, I feel like I'm missing out on a huge chunk of my life and I'm pretty depressed over it.

  • Porsche 1983 944 for a first car?

I've been looking at getting a first car recently and I didn't really want the typical Civic. I know maintenance isn't cheap on some older sports cars, but my very good friend is a mechanic and he usually helps me out with things. So anyways, I found a Porsche 944 for 1.4k, it runs well all it needs is brake pads (and I didn't have to at that), has about 90k miles. It looks really clean on the inside and pretty nice on the outside, seems just like overtime minor scratches and nicks. So at the price of 1.4k would a 944 be a reasonable first car? I also have an offer on the table of a 89 Alfa Romeo Spider for 1.8k, but I'm not sure if that'll be a better choice.

  • Is a DeLorean a good first car?

I'm about to get my first car and I'm definitely not looking to get a new or expensive car I was just looking for something cheap that can get me around.... After thinking about a car for a while I was seriously contemplating on a DeLorean. It may sound weird, but it's one of very few cars that you can get for $17,000 and get more looks on it than people driving $200,000 cars. So anyways I was wondering if it was good mechanically to run, how much the expenses of repairing any parts over time would cost, and just the general practicality of it.

  • Nervous, Bitey, Uncontrollable Dog?

I got a Siberian Husky about a month ago (he is about a year and two months now) he came from an owner who was unfit and didn't have enough time for him so I took him in. We have been trying to get him to learn over the past couple of weeks and he seem to be getting a little better, but he has random spurts of being misbehaved. Couple of examples, he runs in front of me and starts building up his bark (hard to explain, but he kind of builds his bark up over time) when I walk to my brothers room, he bites when you try to pet him (not hard but it still hurts when he lays his teeth over your skin), he jumps on top of anyone and everyone that comes into my house and bites their socks. When someone comes over there is only one place they can sit which is the computer chair which for some reason works as like a safe-zone from him. The only times he is good is when he just wakes up or when someone's alone with him. I just don't know what to do at this point, at a year and two months old should he be acting like this?

  • How to make an affordable Riot Shield?

I want to make a riot shield for airsoft, but all the ones online are either too small or just out of my price range. I've been looking into lexan and plexiglass, but the sheets that are sold online come flat and I need it to be curved (I don't know how to curve it, unless Home Depot or some place does it let me know). Is there a cheaper alternative to making a riot shield? Keep in mind it doesn't need to stop a real bullet just some airsoft bullets going at anywhere from 300-400fps.

  • What Hairstyle Should I Get, 14 Year Old Boy?

Alright, so I'm 14 and I've surprisingly gone through quite a few hairstyles already. I've had a bowl cut, mohawk, and now I have really short on the sides and long on the top. I just haven't really found one that I really like and the mohawk and my hairstyle now seem to be such a hassle. I have a pretty narrow head and long hair doesn't suit me whatsoever. I'm looking for a haircut in the short to medium range that isn't too hard to keep up and looks nice. Any tips?

  • Siberian Husky Behavioral Issues?

I have a 9 month old Siberian Husky who is for the most part a good boy. He is really gentle and such when he wants to be, but at times he acts up. He usually (mostly) just does this when I first walk into the room due to excitement, but when I sit down he will jump on the couch and he knows he's not meant to be there because he goes into his "defensive" stance. He comes over to you nips you and when you react or even slightly moves he will run under the bed. That's whats indicating he knows what he's doing. He also doesn't really like to be petted, he will take it for a second or two, but retaliates after a while. If you take a toy away from him he will push you with his paws, nip, and either breathe heavily or bark. I tried holding his snout for punishment, putting him in "time-outs", etc. I don't know much else to do. Please someone help me out on raising him, he's a real good boy, but he really acts up sometimes.

  • What song did I hear on the radio?

There is a song that played on 97.1 Amp radio (in Los Angeles) and I heard a song that I really like, but I don't know the name....

In the beginning of the song a guy was singing and it was slow paced and I remember on line he said was like, "It's my party I can if I want to, smoke weed if I want to". Also, I remember there was another part where there is a black guy laughing really slowly and repetitively....

The song has to be relatively new (made in late 2011 or early 2012)

Anybody know what I'm talking about?

  • Friends Pitbull Doesn't Like Me?

My friend has a pitbull/sharpei mix dog that's almost a year old. At first he didn't mind me and let me pet him and didn't think much of it, but recently he seems to dis-like me. When I walk around the house he runs right in front of me and stares at me, when I try to hug him he growls but he doesn't growl when anyone else hugs him, and when I try and sit-down somewhere he quickly jumps onto where I'm trying to sit. I've fed him, played with him, and tried my best to bound with him, but no matter what he seems to act the same towards me. What do you think is wrong?
