  • Did CSU Fullerton reject my application?

"Our records indicate that you have not been offered admission for the application term that you have selected. Only admitted applicants can Accept/Decline admission to the University. Please come back to indicate your decision when you are admitted to the University."

This is for the Fall 2017 term.

  • Question to Christians.....Have you read the Bible from Genesis 1:1 to end?

I'm a Muslim, and this question just came to me naturally while watching a debate on you tube. Have you ever read the Bible from Genesis 1:1 to the end? By reading, I don't mean listening to what he/she said or this is what the pastor/preacher at the church said. I mean reading it from beginning to an end of the Bible. I don't mean to sound like I am bashing Christians or Christianity, and by all means I respect everyone and their opinion.

  • Muslims, I need for thought on this?

Lately, I been feeling I want to become an atheist. I just don't believe there is such thing as God or angels and stuff. I always prayed, fast, and did all the things in Islam, but now I do not find the peace. It's been over 3 months since I felt no peace in praying anymore. The way the heaven is described is truly bugs me as well. I read the entire Quran already both in Arabic and English. There is nothing in the Quran that says what women will get in paradise. It only tells of men, and men get more inheritance than women. Why is that? A man can get 72 virgins with eternal erection (disgusting) and not a Muslim woman.

Muslim woman feeds the man, cares for him, raises his kids, respects his family, respects his decision, and his everything. In the end, the man gets more than her? Why? Nothing in the Quran supports women's sexual desires, the passages from quran as well as hadiths only focus on men. Why?

  • Can any Muslim woman answer this for me?

I'm a Muslim woman, and I do not approve of this thing in heaven. I wanted to see how you feel about it.

~ Do you think it is fair that your husbands get 70 houris in paradise and not you?

Abu Umama narrated: "The Messenger of God said, 'Everyone that God admits into paradise will be married to 72 wives; two of them are houris and seventy of his inheritance of the [female] dwellers of hell. All of them will have libidinous sex organs and he will have an ever-erect penis. Sunan Ibn Majah, Zuhd (Book of Abstinence 39)

Don't you feel you deserve the same pleasures the men do? Do you agree your husbands should marry them along with 2 women from this life?

    • Al-hoor al-‘iyn will be wives of the men in Paradise, in addition to their wives from among the people of this world. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“So (it will be). And We shall marry them to Hoor (fair females) with wide lovely eyes” [al-Dukhaan 44:54]

  • Any Atheist out there?

My question to atheist is that how do you live your everyday life? I know you don't follow religion or believe in God. Did you convert from a different religion? If so, how is your life different now than it was before? Do you hate when someone tells you that you're lost if you don't believe in God? If you're from a religious family, how did they react knowing you became an atheist? By the way, I'm Muslim and lately I been curious about life of an atheist.

  • Christians, could you answer this for me?

I was wondering if Muhammad was ever mentioned in the Bible. I mean like any word or foreshadow of a new Prophet that will rise. Does Kaa'ba appear in the Bible? I have a Bible, the only problem is that the Church guy I ordered it from gave it to me in a different language rather than English. I called him again, and they still haven't responded. I would appreciate if you avoid negative comments! Thanks!

  • To everyone practicing religions?

If God created all human beings including animals, that means he also created the gay people. Then why is he against his own creation in his religious books? No hate comments!

  • If Islam is a bad religion with hatred/violence, why people convert to it?

I'm a very open-minded thinker, who happens to come across this question. Medias and other sources shows Muslims as the "bad" and "enemies" of the world, and yet so many people convert to it. Why? My point is, why would anyone be something knowing it is bad. (I'm not saying the religion is bad, just pointing out how people portray it). If Islam "oppreses" women, then why most Westerners or other women around the world convert to it? Many scientist I know have converted to Islam, and some even college professors and other celebrities. Here are a few examples (obviously not going to post about all people who have converted)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-Fik8H4IOQ

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53xM0Ze8gz8

    Celebrities:

~ In 2009, the British tabloid The Sun published a piece claiming that Michael Jackson had changed his name to Mikael Jackson and converted to Islam. Jackson’s lawyer denied the claim, but worldwide interest in Jackson’s alleged conversion remained even after his death. Jackson’s brother Jermaine is a convert to Islam, however.

~ Famous boxing champion Mike Tyson was sentenced to prison for rape, and converted to Islam while in prison. Few knew of his conversion until Tyson publicly tweeted a photo of himself performing the Umra pilgrimage in Mecca in 2010, in front of the Holy Kaaba.

Celebrities who thought of converting to Islam:

~ While filming a movie in Istanbul,

Liam Neeson was quoted as “thinking about becoming a muslim”

in response to the call to prayer. He said, “The Call to Prayer happens five times a day and for the first week it drives you crazy, and then it just gets into your spirit and it’s the most beautiful, beautiful thing… There are 4,000 mosques in the city. Some are just stunning and it really makes me think about becoming a Muslim.” Neeson did not actually convert, however.

~Princess Diana of Wales died in a tragic car crash in Paris in 1997, just one year after her divorce from Prince Charles. Her companion Dodi Fayed was also killed in the crash, and her relationship with Fayed (an Egyptian billionaire) immediately led to speculation about Diana embracing Islam, as well as numerous conspiracy theories about her death. A tabloid book,

    The Diana Chronicles

,makes an explicit claim that Diana considered marrying a Pakistani heart surgeon named Hasnat Khan. Despite the notroety and various alleged Muslim romantic attachments, there is no reason to suspect that Diana actually converted at any time.

There are more I found with my research, I don't want to make this a longer question.

  • Why are there so many teen pregnancies? Does it not ruin their life?

My question pretty much says it all, but back then it used to be married girls getting pregnant. Now we have 13-16 years old getting pregnant for no reason. Recently, my 13 years old friend became pregnant with some guy idk. Then she posts up pictures of how she is happy, without realizing she ruined her life. Doesn't it frustrates you that unmarried girls are getting pregnant, while there are few married pregnant women?

  • Why are American medias so biased?

Everyday I watch news, I always see the biased opinion they are giving us. Like the Muslims for example, the media portrays them like savages, uncivilized, terrorists, and etc. When another country does something bad (or person from another religion) they make them sound as if they're horrible people. They only time I see a news about Muslims is when they do something bad, and same for the India. When the bus incident with a college female happened, they played the news as to portray the men in India like a bunch of rapists, same goes to the what happened to the lady visiting Taj Mahal (in India). Sometimes news of how a Mexican guy does something bad becomes major story or when a black guy does something. When their police shot one of the Hispanic man, why didn't they fire the officer? Or when the police themselves shoot innocents? The white people make themselves sound as if they work hard when in reality I see Mexican people working harder then them, black people trying to get into college (I have a black female friend who is dedicated and intelligent), and Muslim friends (male and female) who are intelligent people and nice. I have had an Indian friend who always made me smile and laugh even when it was something serious.

  • Can any Muslim answer this for me?

What are the rewards for women in after life? Is there such thing as 72 virgins for men? Did Muhammad talked about anything related to what women will get in after life or he didn't care? I need accurate verses from Quran or any real evidence of such thing.

  • Why do people think Muslim women are oppressed?

I hear that a lot everyday in my life that Muslim women are oppressed even though I am a Muslim woman myself who does not agree with that. I mean we have all these rights in our hands:

~Right to choose spouse and say no to any proposal

    ~Right to own property/land

~Right to get an education, job, and go to mosque without permission

~We had the right to vote long before Western women did

~EQUAL reward as men in after life

~Eve was not blamed for eating from forbidden tree

    ~Female presidents

It is the duty of the husband, not the bride's family. He is supposed to pay for a marital gift. The Quran called it a gift, and it is exclusively the right of the woman. She doesn't have to spend it on the household, she doesn't have to give it to her father or anyone else. If the woman happened to own any property prior to marriage, she retains that property after marriage. It remains under her control. Also, in most Muslim countries, the woman keeps her own last name, and her own identity.

My point is how are we oppressed then? Why does the media tend to show us as being oppressed by men?

"Whatever men earn, they have a share of that and whatever women earn, they have a share in that." [Noble Quran 4:32]

Prophet Muhammad - “The rights of women are sacred. See that women are maintained in the rights assigned to them.”

  • What the heck is happening?

Okay, so every time I'm changing for PE in girls locker room, there's this one girl who's always staring at me. Like when I take my shirt off, lean to get something, put shorts on, I can see her staring at me. I hardly ever said a word to her since I don't anyone to think wrong about the situation, but it gets on my nerves when she does that. Like I can't change without her staring at me, or when I drop something she's just looking with her mouth open. Recently, when I was changing and she was talking to another female friend, the whole time I could feel and see her staring. Her eye contact was not the person she was talking to but she rather watch me take my shirt off or my jeans.

  • Is this allowed in the religion?

Hello, I am a Muslim female who happens to be curious about this act in Islam. I heard a lot of about this act also known as "female genital mutilation", so I was wondering if that's true. Does Islam allow this, and even the Quran itself? I did my research on that topic, but I got nowhere. I have a female friend who had this act performed on her, but my other Muslim friends didn't (including me). If my religion is suppose to be "peaceful" why do we have this going on?

  • What would my ethnicity would be?

Okay so I'm from Pakistan living in the United States. I was curious to know what my ethnicity would be because in school it starts with an N. I'm not quite sure if it is Native American since I don't remember my family ever mentioning we were part of Native American tribes. I looked around the internet and it says Native American or African American.

  • Is there any suggesting that I can try?

I have been sweating a lot lately, and it's been bugging me for 2 weeks now. I try to take a shower hoping it will make a change, but just about 15 minutes later I start sweating all over again (even the deodorant doesn't help much). I already had my monthly menstruation cycle hoping it has nothing to do with it. I also shaved my legs, arms, under arm including the private area, but it still doesn't do much for me. My underarm starts to smell like I haven't washed in years 15 mins after shower.
