I housesat for a couple with a great dane who was great! She was sweet and gentle. But so big! I might get a dog some day, but wanted something smaller than a Dane. Are there smaller dogs with the same sweet, gentle temperament?

I heard the Duggars on the radio this morning, and I had to think, Hoarders! Really, how can they spend any one-on-one time with that many kids? And then there's Angelina Jolie and Madonna, who keep adopting babies from every country on earth. So what do you think?

Hear me out. (Inspired by a recent question.) If a woman works as many hours outside of the home as the man does, and then comes home and does most of the housework and childcare while he plays Worlds of Warcraft all night, isn't it just as much her fault as it is his? Shouldn't she put her foot down and put him in his place?

Some guys are pigs, but with a little discipline, they will be perfect hubbies. If she tolerates his slacker behavior, then of course he's going to take advantage of the situation. Some guys are so clueless that they don't think there's anything wrong with it!

First off, I'm a girl, not a guy like my avatar/screenname. I got an STD screening, and I have been diagnosed with Herpes 1. Isn't that just cold sores? Herpes 2 is the STD, right?

Ok, so here are my questions.

Can I get Herpes 2 from fellatio?

Can I get Herpes 2 from cunnilingus?

Can I get Herpes 2 if there are no visible signs of it on the guy?

If I had Herpes 2, wouldn't it have shown up by now? My last sexcapade was in early December, but it was oral only. If I had H2, I would've had an outbreak by now, wouldn't I?

I have only had intercourse with my hubby in the last 15 years, and he was a virgin. Since my divorce, I have indulged in oral pleasure with a couple of guys. What are my chances of having Herpes 2?

Seems I've picked up a stalker on my regular account, and I'd like to make it private to that person. However, I still want my contacts to be able to follow me. Is it all or nothing? It was probably only used for pot, but still, you're deadset against drugs of any kind. Your SO promised you that they were off the pot before you two began cohabitating, but this is the second time you think you've caught them doing drugs. Your SO hangs out with their drug dealer friend who was your SO's connection when they smoked pot.

So what do you do? Confront them? Ignore it? Hope it goes away? Give them the benefit of the doubt? Boot them out? (I'm asking in GS because you guys are more mature here than in the Society & Culture sections.)

I once flew clear across the country to meet a girl I'd been talking to on-line. It didn't work out, but we had one heck of a weekend! What have you all done?

My lady and I have decided to take things to the next level. She suggested that we both be tested for STD's, which I agree with. For her, it's an easy trip to her gyno-whatever. But where do *I* go? I don't want my regular doctor to do it, and I just want to pay for it outright, not put it on my insurance.

My sister thinks her hubby's smoking pot again and she doesn't know what to do. (She uses this account sometimes to ask questions because he doesn't know about it.) What would you do?

Note: don't waste my time telling me that pot's not that bad for you and all that jazz. I don't care. Remember that it's ILLEGAL and he could get arrested for it! If he has it stashed in my sister's car, SHE could get arrested for it! And their landlady's already said if he smokes pot she's kicking them out. So my sister could be homeless over this!

What would you do in her situation?

I'm just curious if smoking weed can cause you to be depressed and un-motivated and down on life in general. Thanks for any insight!

Also, on a side note, generally when someone buys weed, is it loose-leaf or already in a joint? Thanks!
