I have been a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 8 months now and I love it! The fellowship is wonderful! I was just looking around on here and noticed a lot of negative comments left by some individuals. They may be killing someone by keeping them from coming into the rooms and getting help for their problems. Yes, there are some who are fortunate enough to put the cork in the bottle and leave it alone. Some of us need to be surrounded by people who are going through the exact same things that we are. I know the program has saved my life and I see maricles happen daily. My daughter is also in Al-Ateen being that her father (my ex husband) and I are both addicts. She LOVES it! Please share some experience, strength and hope so that another dying alcoholic may find his/her way into the rooms. Thank you!

I have a black leather coat that has a few nice size spots of pink nail polish on it. Im scared to use nailpolish remover or anything like that. Im sure Id end up with a worse mess. I appreciate your help!

I just got my question deleted for asking if anyone else was hungover. I fail to see where that is a violation. Anyone have any clue as to why it might be? Or, do you think maybe someone who is against drinking reported and thats why? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Ralph came home drunk one night, slid into bed beside his sleeping wife, and fell into a deep slumber. He awoke before the Pearly Gates, where St. Peter said, "You died in your sleep, Ralph." Ralph was stunned. "No, I can't be! I've got too much to live for. Send me back!"

St. Peter said, "I'm sorry, but there's only one way you can go back, and that is as a chicken. "Ralph

was devastated, but begged St Peter to send him to a farm near his home.

The next thing he knew, he was covered with feathers, clucking, and pecking the ground. A rooster strolled past. "So, you're the new hen, huh? How's your first day here?"

"Not bad," replied Ralph the hen, "...but I have this strange feeling inside. Like I'm gonna explode!"

"You're ovulating,” explained the rooster. "Don't tell me you've never laid an egg before?" "Never," said Ralph.

"Well, just relax and let it happen," said the rooster. "It's no big deal."

Ralph did, and a few uncomfortable seconds later, out popped an egg! Ralph was overcome with emotion as he experienced motherhood. He soon laid another egg -- his joy was overwhelming.

As he was about to lay his third egg, he felt a smack on the back of his head, and heard his wife shout.....

"Dammit, Ralph! Wake up. You're pooping in the bed!"

Ive been earning some extra points going through and voting for undecided questions. What is really starting to annoy me is the fact that so many people just vote for the first answer so that they can get their point. If you are going to vote you should take the time to read through them and pick the one that really is the best. I bet there are so many horrible answers that get picked as best beacause of this.

I have had pretty severe insomnia for the past 4 nights and I have to get sleep tonight or I am going to lose it. Have you taken any over the counter sleep aids and what was your experience with them? I would prefer not to feel groggy in the morning but I have to get sleep somehow! Please help me out! Ive never had problem like this before!

My daughter is slightly overweight....not obese by any means. She gets picked on in schoool for her weight at times. She says no one likes her and everyone teases her. She doesnt have a best friend at 11 years old and rarely plays with other kids. I have her eating healthy and we are walking every night. The bad thing is she goes to her dads every other week and he doesnt do things the way I do. My daughter is very beautiful and I tell her so all of the time. I tell her to ignore other kids and keep her chin up even when she is being teased. I need some tips on getting her to shine with confidence so that she will not get picked on as much. Its really affecting her school work. Any ideas besides slimming her down? Im working on that. I try to explain to her even when she loses weight she doesnt want to be friends with those who have teased her. Kids can be so cruel sometimes.

I love the Dole strawberry Fruit bars! I have a bag of frozen strawberries and would like to make some very similar to those. I dont know if just blending the strawberries and freezing them in popsicle molds will taste good or not. Has anyone tried this or do you have any good recipes?

I was just wondering.....Some people on here obviously don’t realize that I have an education and I have experienced several things in life that have given me much knowledge. I’m guessing it’s because they are uneducated themselves. Anyhow, it just ticks me off when I get a thumb down for an answer that I know is absolutely correct!
