I've not include the next paragraph as they are not necessary. But anyways, should I feel special about this? Should I believe what they said that they are impressed?

So today I got my glasses for the first time. My glasses are made so that I can see from far away. What I noticed though is that when I wear them, it's harder for me to see things near me than when I don't have the glasses. Basically, it reverses me from shortsightedness to farsightedness when I wear my glasses. Is this normal? Okay, so I am a right hander, which means my right arm is stronger than my left. But here's the catch, my left eye is dominant; thus, i don't feel right when im in orthodox, it just doesn't feel right, it feels awkward when i throw a punch. On the other hand, when I'm southpaw, I feel very well, I don't feel awkward at all, though my right arm is more powerful. So should I stick to southpaw or switch to orthodox?
