I'm 16 years old and a male. I think when I was younger I used to feel bad about natural disasters and when people died on TV, but when I started to grow up a little bit I realized that I don't really care that much. I want to be a good person, but I just don't really care about people I don't have any emotional connection to. It's sort of affected my beliefs too, like for example I wouldn't care if we exterminated a big part of the population if it meant solving global issues like overpopulation and global warming. I mean, it would go for me too, like I wouldn't feel betrayed if they had to kill me to save the rest, although I don't want to die.

I also sometimes don't even feel bad about people I know but that I don't have an emotional connection with. Like a couple people that I sort of knew in school died this year and everyone was very upset but I didn't feel bad. I wanted to feel bad, but I just didn't. I mean, they aren't being tortured or anything, they're just dead. How can I feel bad for someone who doesn't even exist anymore? My Dad also got sent to prison for the rest of his life. I love my Dad, but since my mom and dad divorced I haven't really seen him more than a few times a year. I don't really feel bad about it. I mean, it sucks that I can't see him anymore but I didn't see him very much anyway so it doesn't really affect me too much emotionally.

Is there something wrong with me?

I was interested in the Savage Mkii G, and so I went to Dick's to see if they had it there. The only model they had was the MkII GXP. I looked on Savage's website but it wasn't listed. I asked the guy at the counter what the difference was and he said there was none other than that the GXP had a scope included. It looked, however, like it didnt have the accutrigger on it which I heard from many people is what makes the gun. It would be my first firearm, but I want to get my money's worth. What are the differences between the GXP and the G? Is there a big difference in accuracy from the others? Are there aftermarket parts for this model/can I buy an accutrigger and put it on the gun if I eventually wanted to? Thanks

A couple days ago I came acros a video on motherless of my Dad having sex with my step sister. My Dad is 53 and my sister is 20, however the video was posted two years ago, and judging from the house thry were in she could have been anywhere from 16-18 when it was shot. The whole thing seemed consensual, as she was on top and stuff (I dont want to get into details its really uncomfortable) but that doesnt change the fact that its extremely weird and potentially illegal. Im 100% sure its them, as I recognize the room theyre in and he was calling her name, it was his voice etc. Needless to say ive been deeply disrburbed by this and I feel extremely uncomfortable visiting him (he and my mom are long divorced) and I dont know what to do. I have been told I look like a serial killer a lot for some reason. People have said that they think I'm gonna grow up and be a serial killer and I've heard it said a whole lot of times that I look like one. I'm not sure why. Just like random people at school too. I am a bit weird, but I don't dress weird (at least not anymore, now I wear mostly like rcva kind of stuff and polo) and I have really good hygiene. I'm really awkward and stuff but I don't just sit in silence like I talk to people and stuff. I've also heard from a few people that I remind them of Trevor from Grand Theft Auto V. If you haven't played it, he's like an absolutely insane character who does weird ****. After hearing this from someone for the millionth time I asked him what he meant and he said that I just have the face of a serial killer and I'm weird. What might people mean?

A few minutes ago I stood up and got an extreme headrush and passed out. I don't remember what happened, but I came to my senses on the ground and my head is throbbing and my neck hurts very bad. I think I might have fallen over my coffee table that was below me, but I was lying next to it. When I bend it theres a very sharp pain in a specific place. I hurts when I bend it at all but especially in this one position. The sharp pain isn't extreme but its enough to make me stop. Could there be something wrong?

I am doing a project for Algebra 2 on wages and how they relate to education, why they rise, and how they are affected by recession and why they level off/speed up increasing. We were supposed to examine wages based on education level by year from 1998 - 2012

I said that I thought it increases because of inflation, but I'm not sure, because it increases pretty fast, and I thought the economy inflates really slow. I'm also not sure how recession affects wages and whether they would rise or slow down because of it. Another thing I have to explain is why the wages actually dropped in 2011.

I am 15 years old, 6' 1" and weigh only 138 pounds. Every time I meet someone they like, stare at my legs and stuff and ask my why/how I'm so skinny and if I starve myself or something. It's really embarassing and I've never had a girlfriend because I'm so skinny. I simply have little appetite, and taking adderall every morning really doesn't help. I'm at a point in my life when I should be starting to gain muscle mass but I'm simply not gaining anything. I really just want to be average weight, I don't care about being ripped or anything. I've thought about starting to smoke weed more often, like everyday, to see if that helps but I heard somewhere that it actually makes you skinnier sometimes.

Please don't pump out some 5000 calorie diet/workout routine before reading this. I simply can't do that kind of thing. Something to start easy or a method to increasing appetite would help

I want to know the name of some movies, independent films, or even youtube videos that are truly disturbing. Not like Saw, Insidious, or anything like that. I'm not looking for something that's full of just gore and sex and ****** up things like Human Centipede or A Serbian Film either. I'm looking for something that is purely weird and plain unsettling, like something that you'd see in a really bad acid trip, not something with a corny story line about some cliche bullshit. Something like Eraserhead or something like the images you'd find in a creepypasta, if such a film exists. Thanks.

When I say God I mean the Christian God, who in the biblical stories, spoke with Adam & Eve, Noah, Moses etc. Why do you believe in that specific diety? The Bible/faith is not a rational reason. If that is your only reason, you have an irrational belief (a delusion)

I'm planning on building a custom water cooling system and I want to keep it as cheap as possible, but it seems like all the parts are extremely expensive. I talked to my dad about it, since he was the one who got me into overclocking a couple months ago and I've learned pretty much everything I know about OCing from him so far. However, my dad is sort of out of the loop because he was big into overclocking over a decade ago and stopped in the early 2000's, so he's kind of a dinosaur. He was a pretty good overclocker from the looks of it though (he told me the most he did was oc a amd athlon 3.4 something or other to 8ghz) so I trust most of what he tells me.

Anyway, my dad told me when I brought it up that all the brand name pumps and tubing made for water cooling is a load of horse ****, and that he always used a quality aquarium pump from petsmart for like 30 bucks and some 3/4 tubing from home depot. He said that it always worked fine, but all the people on the forums say that using a fish tank pump is a bad idea though because they don't have good enough pressure or something like that, that good tubing is really important for this and that etc. etc. He also told me that all store bought coolant really is is propylene glycol and water, and with the right ratio it will be just as conductive as the crap you buy in store, so thats another thing to consider.

I'm a total noob, and my dad is definitely ancient in the computer world, but it seems to me that paying $50 for plastic tubes is a whole lot of baloney. I'm not sure how far these guys are taking it, but I'm just curious if you really need a firehouse on your cpu at all times. Noise isn't an issue for me, and the pump will be outside the case so if it leaks that won't be the end of the world, so whats the big deal? Is a 200 dollar pump really necessary to keep my computer cool? It seems like a big marketing ploy to me. I'd appreciate some people like my dad who used to do this kind of stuff back in the day who can give me their opinions on all this. Thanks.

My brothers are at college and they would just say im over reacting if i told them how I feel ( I heard one of them say "tell him to get over it, stop being a little *****. When I told the other that relaxing in the morning before school takes the edge off he said "you dont have it hard, man up.) Everyone i talk to my mom about it she comes up with every reason why its my fault im depressed and that depression isnt a real thing its just that proplr want to be sad and pessimistic and hats how im being. I'm a guy and I like romance fiction, poetry, and just fantasizing in a totally non sexual way (usually). It just now occured to me that there are almost no romance novels from the male perspective, and it seems like im the only male on earth who likes romance novels. Am i gay and just dont know it? Im really worried about myself.

I have a presentation due tommorow about a book/story that was turned into a film and I dont have enough time to read a full novel. Is evil not simply the misunderstanding of an individuals ideas?

I just built my first computer. I pretty much just watched videos and figured things out using e manuals. Everything works, the fans start, the video card, the leds, everything. But when i plug in the monitor, theres no response. What couldve happend? All the parts are brand new, and i made sure all the plugs are in their right ports. Is there something i missed? Maybe a bent pin or something? Could i have possibly damaged something during the process of making it?
