This started with balking at 45-50 mph. It did not do it all the time. Then a few days later I started it and it was like a skip. The engine code said misfire in #1 and #4 cylinders. I changed plugs, coil, pcv valve. I suspect trash in fuel and am thinking of replacing injectors. Any other ideas?

This is a 1999 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder 2.2 engine, well maintained and has ran without any problems. Last week it started a small, intermittent rough running, skip. This occurred mainly from 40-50 mph. Then a few days later it started doing it all the time. Service light started blinking. The code reader said misfire.

So I have put new gas in, put in gas line cleaner, changed spark plugs, changed the coil.That did not help. I did not change the spark plug wires, which are about three years old (Bosch). What else could cause this?

I have a new laptop and I plan to move files from the pc to the new one. This will be going from Windows XP to Windows 10. How is the best way to do that?

My upstairs tv has a wireless connection to the satellite receiver box which is downstairs.The other day it started freezing up about every minute. It stays frozen for about 20-30 seconds. The provider had us to try resetting, updating software, powering down, diagnostics. It shows a strong signal. The provider tells us something different every time. What could cause this and how can I fix it? The tv downstairs does not do this.

The foot valve was replaced four months ago. Since then the water has been muddy and stains the fixtures. The filter now has to be replaced every month.

What would cause this ?

The other day the alarm suddenly went off, the door locks were going up and down and the trunk opened.

I finally disconnected the battery for a while. After that everything was fine, except the door lock and trunk release mechanisms won't work. I have tried replacing several fuses and a circuit breaker (20 amp, CB) but they still won't work. Any ideas ?

I have seen a good price on a refurb desktop HP, but it does not have an os.

What are options for a good os ?

The other day the car was parked outside. Suddenly the alarm goes off, the trunk opens, and the door locks are going up and down like crazy. I finally got it off by disconnecting the battery. Now everything is fine. I have not used the remote security control in years; it is in a drawer somewhere. Could some sort of electrical signal from another source have caused this ? We are frequently getting dropped connections with our internet and wireless speakers inside the house.

I used to have iTunes and I am trying to get it back. I have tried two download sites and none worked. Is iTunes even available any more. Is there a good site to download from ? I tried the Apple site.

I have never heard of this before, and may not even be any kind of problem. My car seems like it is dropping a lot of condensation water from the a/c when I park it. The a/c works great - no problem there. But I don't remember this happening before this summer. It has been hot and very humid lately.

The heat/ac on the car only puts out hot air. This started after there was a clicking noise behind the instrument panel. Then nothing but hot air comes out, even though the ac compressor runs. What would be an average price to replace the part - heat door actuator control ? This part runs about $60, but is back in behind the instrument panel and will take about 6 - 8 hours to replace.

I have MS Works. When I make a document and then try to open it at work or some other place with Office, it will not work. What can I convert it to so that it will be compatible ?

Chromebook display not working - shows lines and a dark area. It was not dropped.

I am re-installing Microsoft Flight Sim X Deluxe. It will not take the activation key; shows message of invalid. I have done this a few times before with no problem. I was on the phone with MS, but they could not come up with an answer.

This is on the same computer, not a different one. It is the same key that is on the box and worked before. Any ideas ?
