I am thinking of signing a 12 month lease for a 2 bedroom apartment with a friend... the bond is $2000 and the rent is $2000 per month.

My friend only has $700 to his name, but I have $4000... I told him that he can have the smaller room for $700 per month and I will have the bigger room for $1300 per month. I also told him that I will cover the full $2000 bond.

But I am still worried that he won't be able to afford the $700 per month and I'll end up having to pay the full $2000 per month... he works a job but barely gets any shifts and spends all his money on alcohol and gambling.

Is it worth the risk?

I have a wisdom tooth infection. I know exactly what needs to be done: I just have to cut off a bit of the gum around the tooth then pour heaps of antiseptic on it.

Dentists cost a lot of money and take too long to book... can I just perform this minor surgical operation on myself?

I am 22 years old and I think I have a gambling problem.

For the last few years, I have been living paycheck to paycheck. I go to the casino multiple times per week, I buy lottery tickets and I gamble online. Sometimes I ll win a few thousand and then I ll lose it all within a week, either through gambling or through giving it away to friends or through reckless spending. I have a hard time holding onto money.

Recently, I won a huge amount of money. Whilst I am very happy with this win, I m also worried that I m going to go down the inevitable path of blowing it all away. Then I ll be broke again, living paycheck to paycheck, and the cycle will repeat.

How do I stop myself from blowing money away recklessly? I don t want to lose it all.

A few centuries ago, people were very racist. White people believed that black people were dirty, inferior, unattractive, etc.

So why then, would white men put their d**ks inside of these women? Were they not scared of catching STDs? Surely, if white women were so much more "superior" to black women, then the white men would prefer to have sex with white women instead...

There is this girl who has a crush on me. Here are some facts about her:

1) She is fat

3) She has a very weird personality

4) She has no friends

5) Lots of people bully her

She thinks I like her because when other people are bullying her, I am usually the one to tell people to "cut it out". I don't like seeing people get bullied.

She has been talking to me a lot and I strongly suspect that she wants to date me (even though she hasn't explicitly said it yet).

How do I tell her (nicely) that I'm not interested?

How much is this worth? And how much would it have cost brand new?

My budget is $2000. I want to buy a new laptop. I am a university student but I also like to watch videos and play games on my laptop.

If I force myself to study, I might not get anything done because of lack of motivation.

But if I take the day off, I might refresh my mind, or I might not accomplish anything.

I have a list of 10,000 values, arranged from lowest to highest. The median value is $500, the lowest value is $100, the highest value is $3000 and they count in multiples of $10 (so there are many repeats).

I want to make a graph where the horizontal axis goes from $100 to $110 to $120 all the way to $3000 and the vertical axis shows the frequency at which these numbers occur.

I am 22 years old and I feel like guys just have no chance... girls are so picky. Like so many of my guy friends would be willing to date literally ANY girl, but girls just seem so picky and so unwilling to date a guy with imperfections.

Suppose every month you deposit $1000 on the very last day, then withdraw it on the first day of the next month.

Will you get the same interest amount as someone who left that $1000 in their bank account the entire month?

This seems like a huge flaw in the system, since I could invest throughout the month, make a profit, then continue getting maximum interest. Also, if there was a timing error of even a few seconds, I could send all my money from one bank account to another when the first bank's month ends but the second one doesn't, to get double interest! Could I do this?

We cook meat to kill bacteria and parasites. That makes the meat safe for us humans to eat.

But do you think it's only a matter of time until the parasites evolve to survive the process of cooking meat? So even cooked meat will be unsafe to eat?

I am a university student, but I have a weekend job where I work from the evening until 3 or 4 am. I usually don't get to sleep until about 6am those days.

I find it difficult to adjust my sleeping pattern. I want to go to sleep at 11pm on weekdays so that I can wake up at 7am for classes. But my weekend job ruins my sleeping pattern.

Is it possible to alternate my sleeping pattern like this? Stay up late some days then sleep early other days? Or do I need to find a new job?

I work at a fast food shop. There is this girl that I have a crush on but we haven't talked that much. We do have each other on Facebook though and I "like" all of her statuses.

At work, she made me some food at the end of her shift and I said thank you to her. Would it be weird for me to message her on Facebook and say thank you once again?

I am 22 years old. Today I was depressed, so I woke up late, skipped work and skipped uni. Instead, I just stayed home listening to music and pretending that my problems don't exist.

It is now 2am and I am thinking of downing a few shots of whiskey just because I am bored. Is this pathetic? Am I on the verge of becoming an alcoholic?
