I want to get a Chinese Water Dragon for my bday/graduation (at first i wanted a turtle but the tank will cost too much) present, i haven't told my mom yet because she is EXTREMELY hard to persuade. and in July, on the 17th, we are leaving to go to New York for a week and that will be her main argument since i brought the price down by building everything from junk in our basement.

So was wondering how to prepare the tank/my Chinese Water Dragon for that week when I'm not home?

P.S. every year we leave for one week in the summer in case that plays a role in your answer

i want to get a turtle but the main reason my mom is apprehensive about it is because of salmonella. i was reading about turtles last night to learn as much as i can about caring for them before i get one, and i noticed some places said there is a small chance of getting salmonella from a turtle and other places said there is a large chance of getting salmonella from a turtle.

so i was wondering what are the chances of me getting salmonella from a pet turtle? are they large or small?

you don't have to answer this if you don't want to but i was also wondering what size tank i should get? i was thinking from 30-40gal. but I'm not sure.

so i was wondering if my cat can/will kill it or if she will drive herself crazy trying to kill it.

Because everyday I log onto Yahoo Answers and try to change it, ill list the steps I go through:

1. I click on "Edit my preferences" under the "MY ACTIVITY" tab on the Yahoo Answers home

2. I click "Update photo or avatar"

3. A white box pops up and I click on the photo I want to use

4. I click the "Use Selected Photo" button (It's yellow-orange)

5. (The same orange explanation point thingy picture is still there) Then I click submit

This used to work, but it doesn't anymore. The picture is changed on my Paulse account, but not Y!A.

So, how do I change the pic

That dragon imprint is every where in my story, from walls to necklaces to shirts to tattoos.

The other thing I need help describing is the way the characters are 'grouped' in a sense. The only way I can describe it is in this way:

there are seven characters and there are nine different districts, each district has its own color, element, sign, and word. Each character can be a part of all different districts, not just one. and each character has their own rank in their district, but their rank is for their main district, and the ranks are, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on, but the ranks are made on a 1-10 scale and the characters are ranked on how important and how well they fight within their main district. so here's a chart like thing as a visual on the ranks and districts for my characters:

That's basically the only way I can explain it. And I don't think I even explained it that well anyways. So, what I'm asking is if you could give me some ideas of different ways of how to explain which district and rank every character is my story. and how I can describe that picture.(If the link works, If the link doesn't work then you don't have to.)

I was running away, through the trees at dusk and hanging branches, tripping on nearly every single root sticking out from the earth. Then as I reached a clearing I saw a silhouette of two people under a weeping willow. One on their knees and the other behind them with their hands on the person’s neck who is on their knees. Then anger arose out of the bits and pieces inside of me that weren't already dripping wet with enchanted sorrow. And as I ran over the person chocking the person on their knees recognized me and started to run as well, but they were running away to stay out of trouble. The only word I was thinking as they ran away was Coward. As I came in close I noticed the person on their knees was one of my long time rivals- Jake. Then the wet pieces of sorrow in me started to dry out, and put themselves together into the form of what was not rage, but pitch-black, deep dark, the most pure types, of all, hatred. Even though I hated him I still remembered when he was fine and the hammers and needles in his life didn’t get to him. I stopped dead in my tracks staring at the person trying to fight from the blackness closing in on their vision. To keep me from running over there I thought of what Sam told me before he died, Hold on to the world we all remember fighting for, There's some strength left in us yet, there’s some hope left in us yet, and the only way to make that type of hope to go away is if you let the impurities in our world get to you. Then the side of me that gives everyone a chance took over, he’ll Stand in the sun, I'll dry his once blue eyes of the black that has taken over, he’ll Sing to me about the end of the world and I’ll remember when I thought he was being sarcastic, I’ll brush the snow on his face off and take the razor blades that pierce my heart out, we’ll sleep tonight, we'll sleep dreamless this time and when I awake I'll know that everything's going to be alright, I started sprinting over there *

*This is the part I'm stuck on. I don't know weather the character (The character is a girl whose name is Jade) should finish Jake off or help him. So, I was wondering what you think.

Jace was in my face now. Ever sense Mirorr won the games last year, Jace has been as immature as a six year-old. Even though he was mad enough to punch a hole in a wall his greenish-brown eyes still showed fear. I backed up and drew my bow,

"Then we will fight in the dark."

"Stop trying to make things peaceful around here!" Jace screamed in anger

"Because its obviously not working!" Jace raged

The ruler walked by with what looked like a new player to the game.

"Hey shut it up you two!" the ruler yelled

"Jace! your being a sore loser! Mirror won that challenge fair and Square." I said

"Now Jade! come here and show this new student the rules!"

"Don't for get what I said Jace." I said

I slung my bow on my soldier and ran towards the ruler.

Basically there's a game called Shot and in the game there's three teams, shadow, light, and mirror.

The shadow team can use shadows to distract the other teams so they can shoot them with a lazier tag kind of gun.

The light team can use lights to distract other players then hit them with arrows that stick to targets on their clothes.

The mirror team can use mirrors to confuse other players. and they have to get red stickers on opposing players targets.

During the game anything goes. so if one team hurts or steals from another team they go to the ruler(who's like a referee) and the ruler chooses if the team gets their points docked or not.

And, for every time a person shoots another player the shooters team gets two points.

And, the person who got shot get their team docked a point.

The team with the most points and the least injured people at the end wins.

So do you think that's a good plot? Have you heard it before? Should I change the names of the teams?

In my story my character gets attacked by a pack of wolves.

But, the other night I was thinking that wolves are too common in fantasy books, because I have not yet read a fantasy story that doesn't mention wolves.

So, I started wondering what a different animal could be, and I came up with foxes.

So I was wondering if I should choose foxes or wolves.

Just a few days ago I finished a book I was writing (yay!) and I just wanted to know, what do I do now?

What I'm saying is, now that I'm done what can I do with it?

Any suggestions?

Someone told me this and I was wondering if cocaine can really burn a hole in your skull.

There are four main story's I would like to write and I can't choose which one to write! So, I have turned to to the internet, as always, to figure out which one I should write.

The first idea:

Imagine leaving all you know for three years. And in those three years you have to make a choice. A choice to weather make or break the world. To fight against nature, or fight with nature. If you fight against nature will you be remembered for saving the world, or remembered for the mistakes you made along the way?

The seconded idea:

There are a lot of things that are impossible. For instance, walking on water, going a year with no food, and flying. But, would that list include building a 1,000,000 piece puzzle in only 30 days? Could you do it with the worlds best trickster and mind twister watching over you? And every time you think your getting closer you're really getting farther from your goal.

The third idea:

Alexander the Great was one of the best battle strategists of all time. he conquered almost all of East Asia and some of Egypt, and did not loose one battle along the way. But, this isn't 334 B.C. this is the 21st century. Now Adolf Hitler wants to be reborn and continue his quest for a 'Perfect world'. Now, Hitler is trying to get to Stone Henge to get his first yes to his rebirth. Alexander the Great has now called for a 12 year-old's help to stop Hitler.

The fourth idea:

In the year 2428 Earth is as big as the sun. There is no peace, only war. And the world is split in half by two groups of people, The Elements and The Monsters. And when the one person who can stop all of the war is born, they are luckily born on The Elements side of the world. Now The Monsters are invading The Elements side and are tearing down everything in their path.

I know I have A LOT of grammar and word mistakes, but these are just summary's of story's I would like to write. And no, I'm not asking for ideas to write about because I'm a big kid who can think of their own ideas.

Please do not copy in any way! Not that you would, I bet your a big kid too who can think of their own things to write about too.

Please don't say "Write what you feel is right to write." because I could write them all, I just cannot choose which one to write(Right to write, I did that on purpose!).
