22 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhat is the formula for sea water expansion due to warming?
How does this relate to Global Warming theory?
For example, water expands when frozen (don't know how much), due to crystalization, and is most dense at 36 degrees farenheit.
What are the numbers that describe total sea volume change (hence sea level), when reduction in volume from melting ice is combined with expansion of water above 36 degrees?
Is there a timeline for contraction/expansion assuming a steady increase in global temperature (even by 1 or 2 degrees)?
Do these phenomena explain inconsistencies in sea level observations/projections with regard to global temperature?

2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoAnybody else have a French-kissing cat?
I do. She shoves her face right into my mouth in the middle of the night.
I might resist this, but if I do, I get swatted, so I accept her gesture at "face" value and go back to sleep.
Whatever the reason, she is easily the most aggressively affectionate cat I've ever seen.
Anybody care to top this?
