why do certain moves in forms repeat. Are they the same techniques, or are they entirely different? Also what was the point into repeating the moves

I have been seeing this said about jump kicks a lot. I think it is BS. Soldiers mounted on horse back found ways to fasten themselves to the horse. Plus a war horse was bred to be huge and strong

My mom always plays favorites with my sister. The other day my sister was telling how she made fun of this boy at college for wearing pajamas to class everyday. My mom, and I am not kidding, was actually praising her for this behavior. While when I gave some person a ride because his have dumped and took the car, so he couldn't drive anywhere and he was stranded. I was ridiculed for doing this for helping out a person in need, while my sister gets praised for insulting a random person. My mom says I am not as good as my sister because I don't study psychology and Itailian, like she does, and I don't go to a "good" college. I study Taekwondo, History, Criminal Justice, Politics, Cultures of the World, and religion. When I told my mom this she told me to shut the **** up. How do you guys view this behavior. We have class several times a week. One night we do forms. The other night self-defense. And others sparring. I am getting ready for my first degree black belt test, it has taken me about just under six years. When we do sparring however, there is little to no contact, but I have been hit plently of times. My last test I went in front of a master. I performed kicks, hand techniques, forms, one-steps, and we had to spar 2 on 1, can't remember what type of contact, but I did get hit, then we had to do two kicks to break a board. Running jump side kick and jump spinning wheel. Then we had read an essay outloud that we had to write. I wasn't bound to any long term contracts. The pay period was by every five weeks.
