So hes been in hiding for 2 days now on the first day i tryed to get near him and he started to make real sad crying noises so i left him to sort tjings out. To day second day he seems well but wont come out of hiding. It feels as if hes not even at home.

Last night he briefly came to sit with me went to sleep in his favorite spot . To day still keeping to himself he used to come when called..but now he hides.

Any clues to this sudden change of behaviour?

For two days now hes hiding keeping out of sight ..it is as if hes not even at home. He eats drinks but acts as if he doesnt know me is always taking cover under the bed does not as usuall answer to calls.

I cant figure out whats gotten into him..hes only 8 years old and in good health.

Has any one an explaination for his change of behaviour?

So i had a horseriding exsident a feww years back now.

Comming home my knee had swelled up. I did not want to go to a Doctor the idea of needles etc frightened me.

For a long time the slightes bumbing into something made my knee swell up.

Ì went to see a Doctor swimming was suggested...so i swam every day.

It helped.

A few years later the side of the knee where i fell on stayed spounchy. I went to get an xray done no ubnormality was seen.

Ok so i left it again.

But what I'm dealing with now is after walking longer distances the knee hurts and is puffy. Enquiries with the Doctor... somehow they always know how to ignore my questioning before i know it I'm back home with mo answers.

Does anyone know what had happened to my knee when i fell off my horse? 2 what am i left with 3 what to do with it or what would be best to get my knee back to the way it used to be. Swimming is also not helping at this stage.

Doctors have never told me what happened to my knee .

I've been asked to use Libitor to control cholesterol. Going on the internet the write ups say to ask the GP if he would perscripe steroids to his family.

Is there any history from any one successfully managing cholesterol levels? What would my option be?

Some sources say not to be concerned about higher levels its the body managing affairs. Which side to choose? A difficult decision. Risks on both sides.

So far I have noticed that my right thigh shows up with tightness soon after taking the medicine. Was told to take it at night as it works better at that time.

So again what to do? If there is another way to balance cholesterol levels that pave the way that anyone can suggest..it would be so helpful. I feel more and more uneasy having to take steroids ie Libitor.

After an injury to my right leg I was asked to get scans done. . Everything is VERY painful most of the time.

The doctor said I must have a hip replacement operation. This will take place in 7 to 12 months the waiting list is such. In the scan report it was mentioned that the cyst detected does not have the apparence of a usual cyst 20 by 15mm the Doctor wasn t worried about it said you will get everything cleaned up and a brand new femoral head will be put in..

Off and on when not careful it is as if the bone is dislocating this is Very painful. Also suspect of possible avascular necrosis.was mentioned in the scan.

Ocationally my leg is locked with cramps and well what am I supposed to do?

Any advice or guidelines please.

I never suspected anything like this. I noticed it one day by chance..it sounds like emotional distress like grief.

He's been nurtured is 6 years old an only cat and has been brought up indoors with a balcony for sunny days.

Does anyone have any advice ? I haven't talked to the local Vet they are not very friendly there so asking for some help from a one indoor cat only owner or any one who experienced a similar problem.

He shows no particular discomfort but has me worried as it might be something serious. I haven't talked to the Vet about this as yet has anyone any idea what it might be. Ears are clean but they get really hot. So am very worried about him being in pain. Please help.

If you have ever been bitten by a flea you'll know what it's like. I have applied vet bought flea treatment but not much help from that.Thought of keeping the cat emerged in warm water as to drown the fleas in the fur but he cries none stop does not like the watet. The fleas also have a peak breeding season which is Autumn and this is what we are in now here in Australia.

Experienced cat owners what is your say in this?

We have had him at the Vet several times with the same problem..he keeps getting blood in his stools.

T h e Vet gives him antibiotics and cleans a gland.

Mentioned something about infection..

Been taking care of cholesterol level with use of diet. It has been the same reading for years always between 6.5 to 6.9...

GP suggested now ' LIBITOR " for reducing levels.

Libitor in some books say has risk side affects does anyone know - like what is your experience -

GP said that only 10% of people will experience side affects.

...is it save to move along with a lets say 6.9 cholesterol level?

What to do finding yourself eating non-organically grown food, knowing it is full of deadly poisons put on shelfs in Supermarkets in plenty..YET it will destroy the good health of our poor bodies who depend one good food for staying optimal.

How serious is the problem of GMO and non organically fruits and vegetables? As a Vegetarian this question comes up again and again.

The health benefits of foods are well advertised sure but if pestisides are a major part of them of what use are they except causing the slow poisoning of body and mind.

Not to mention what the affect of GMO produce has in store for us according to resergers.

So organics ARE good but a humble cabbage for a half..can have a price tag of up to short of $10. Any guidelines anyone?

We are not sure what do do about it * it could be a gum disease.

now here I am How bad is it - cat cant say i gave toothache..what do Vets do with tooth decay..pull tooth out?? I payed 300$ at last visit for antibiotic shot worms special bisqit food for the tooth.
