we have to remove an access panel, and it has some caulking sealing it to the linoleum floor. tried some solvent and it started to ruin the linoleum pattern. other than a knife, how can we remove the caulking?

for the whole country, would it not be prudent to ask one question, "should marijuana be openly legalized, permit legal possession of a preset amount (up to 1/4 pound for personal use), medically prescribed only, (insert other options here) or totally illegal, including the growing of hemp (which is used to make ropes and strong material for clothes)? by asking the whole country to vote on the legality of marijuana, those given twenty years for possession of one joint might get released early. it will settle the argument about the law and the "old farts" in congress and the real people of America. i have never seen two pot smokers get into a fist fight because one says this and the other says that. but way too many times i have seen two drunks do so. now i ask, why not ask the people to decide what the law should be? why not put the question to the people on the next ballot? and if you do, i bet you will get more people out to the polls. write your congressman to get it on.
