My best friend just had a short panic attack, and afterwards she forgot things, like her name, the word for cars, where I live, her ex-boyfriend's name, the word for fan, and the word for television. I reminded her of a couple of things, and the rest came back on its own.

This has happened before, more than once. What could have caused it? Should we be worried?

So. I am a Pagan, because I became an Occultist several years ago, and began to study the Occult. Last year, on this site, I met my current mentor, who is also Pagan, and he started teaching me about magick. I slowly realised I wasn't just an objective student anymore, I was actually following this stuff, and I felt myself being drawn into the religion. The main beliefs are that there are many deities, to whom we pray (and some offer), and that magick is real. We perform rituals and cast spells, and celebrate holidays like Samhain (Witch's New Year), the solstices, and the equinoxes.

So, I'm asking you, now, to tell me which religion are you, why are you that religion, and what is the main belief.

Atheists are welcome to answer, as well.

I have absolutely never understood why people fear ghosts! I've never feared them, myself, not even as a child. They've always just been there, you know?

So, why do you think people are afraid of ghosts? Try to be original, please, so less of the "people fear what they don't understand" answers would be great.

Which means I'm not meant to eat stuff like moro/mars bars or caramel mini eggs...but what about deep-fried mars bars? The caramel in that is partially melted and therefore way stickier, but I don't really have to chew the bar, as such, just roll it around in my mouth until it's small enough to swallow. Can I eat deep-fried mars bars?

A friend of mine looked at a really frightening image that deeply disturbed her, and she's quite susceptible to nightmares and mind-f*ckery. Does anyone know of any "earthy" (using as little ingredients and the like as possible, just working with your mind and body, etc) spells she can perform? Preferably ones that take immediate effect?

If not, can you think of any mind-cleansing spells or rituals, same preferences?

I'm considering getting my hair chemically straightened, and the above Wikipedia article states that it sometimes improves the condition of the hair and makes it smoother.

My hair is wavy, thick, a little bit frizzy, and very coarse, would the straightening make it less coarse and frizzy, or is it likely to make it worse?

I don't know my maternal or paternal grandfather, but my maternal grandmother turned white, while my paternal grandmother turned grey.

My dad has very pale grey in his hair, if that helps.
