I bought a 10 gallon fish tank kit in a box at walmart. It came with a filter, heater and lighted lid. I also bought some gravel, water conditioner (to get the water ready) and solution of starter bacteria. I put it all together and already put the water conditioner and bacteria starter into the water, I purchased these seperate. Everything works but the filter. I can't get the filter to run at all. I called walmart to see if they can give me another filter and talked to a lot of people. The manager said I would have to bring the whole tank kit back to walmart and they would give me another one. But since I had to pour out the water and get the gravel out (spilled some) I am out of the solution packets that I bought and some gravel. I feel they should replace the solution packets I bought and also maybe give me an extra small bag of gravel. It would have been easier to just give me a filter off the shelf. What is your opinion?

I had a medium size dog and larger dogs before. I'm thinking of getting a small dog, like a chihuahua or something tiny. Does a smaller dog need to be taken outside to go tinkle more often than a larger dog?

My son was having an allergic reaction, definitely not his first, while we were out. On the way home in the car his face, lips and eyes started swelling and that scared me. So we were near a hospital and I pulled in and took him to ER. They seen his face, got my information, put him in a room and asked if he could breathe (yes). That was it for 3 hours. After 3 hours waiting the swelling was down and he looked much better. A nurse walked by and I asked if I could just leave. She laughed at me and walked away. So we left without telling anyone. I took him home and gave him his benadryl and steroid and he is fine now. Will I get in trouble for that or billed for it?

I've been trying to get his doctor to refer him to an allergist for testing. Just want to know what happens with the ER thing.

What things does a household pay for now that we didn't pay for 50 years ago? For example, car insurance was optional when I was a kid. No internet to pay for. Cable tv was not necessary to watch tv. What else?

My fish tank hood light went out. Bought new bulbs and still not working. So, I need to replace the hood. Still financially recovering from christmas. Is it necessary to run out and get one or can it wait for a month or 2? I have a 10 gallon tank with 4 convict fish. I used to turn light on in the evening when everyone is in living room and can enjoy the fish. Will it change the water chemistry to not have the light on for awhile?

Come on, admit it. Who does it? I did it recently. The older I get the more I get. I want to know I'm not the only one.

What is this suppose to mean and does it apply in modern day?

They "point" a bent finger when making a speech, point at random people in a crowd as if they know them, and do the politician fist pump. Why does that make me so sick to see that? It's so fake, like they all took the same class and learned to do that.

If I pay $100 a month for car insurance for 20 years that's $24,000. I know 5 people in my family who pay approximately that so that's about $120,000. So with everyone who drives pays about that, where does all that money go? To pay for car wrecks? Government? What? (No, I've never had a wreck or used the insurance to pay for anything)

How do a get her to stop? She was getting in my trash, so I gave her some food. Now for the past month there has been 1-2 dead mouse per day on my welcome matt! We live by a large field. I don't mind feeding her but this dead mouse thing has to stop.

I have searched the stores (Shoe Show, Shoe Sensation, Payless, Footlocker, Walmart) and I have searched online for 4 days. I'm going nuts. I need a size 10.5 but must be WIDE width. He has big "knuckles" on his feet and most shoes get narrow at the toe part. I know New Balance has some but my 13-year-old boy wants something cool-looking. Nike, Adidas or even DC's or Vans. I found 1 pair of wide Nike's in a high-top but it's just plain white. Why don't they make these? Can anyone give me a clue where to find a cool shoe in a wide? Please help if you can.

I'm not real smart with technology (I haven't kept up with things since my Atari). I know the Wi would stand for "wireless". What does the Fi stand for? If I bought a laptop that says WiFi, what does that mean exactly? I'm thinking it means I can get on the internet in "hotspots" for free? Is that correct and is it legal? A simple answer pretty please.

In the movie she buys an old yellow BMW or Mercedez and moves with her teenage daughter to California to start a new life. I think this was in the early 90's and a girly movie. I know it's not much to go off of but thought I would ask. Thanks.
