  • Are there any genuine paranormal activity channels on Youtube?

I'm trying to find Youtube channels that don't edit in their "paranormal" footage, even if their footage is sometimes bland, or they don't catch anything most of the time. A lot of the paranormal activity channels that I have found on Youtube are almost always overly-dramatic, and they usually catch "paranormal" proof almost EVERY episode, that sounds a little suspicious to me. I try to stay away from the big names such as Moe Sargi, and Ghost Hunters, I've seen a lot of editing in both their videos. I do sometimes watch Buzzfeed Unsolved Network (with Shane and Ryan,) because 1. they're super funny, and 2. they don't catch something during every single investigation. Are there any (other) channels centered around paranormal activity that you trust?

  • Has staying quarantined effected your mental health at all?

So, I graduated high school in 2018. After that I moved down to Indiana to be closer to my mum. My boyfriend and I moved in with her for a few months while my bf searched for a job. Before moving in, we had both worked at a pizza place, which is how I discovered that I absolutely despise working in fast food, and I kind of figured working retail would be similar based on stories I've heard. I didn't want to work any type of fast-food job after that, and thought that I would somehow make it as a freelance writer using a site called writers.work. Thing is, I wasn't motivated. At all, I wasn't even submitting any applications to potential clients. (This is due to a lot of reasons, the main reason being that I have difficulty getting out of bed most days due to my depression.) Long story-short, I ended up not having a job in the end (not even a freelancing one,) and I'm pretty introverted, so I normally stayed inside as I didn't want to go out, and I didn't have a job or school to keep me entertained anymore. In the past couple years I've noticed my social anxiety worsen, I now find it difficult to even take the trash outside. I've stopped writing (for the most part) and have even noticed a decrease in my writing skills, as well as my analytical reading skills. I was just wondering if anybody who's staying inside now has noticed a change in them as well?

  • Adopting a dog but I'm renting an apartment?

Hello! I'm currently looking to adopt a dog, but I'm having trouble finding places/people that are willing to adopt out to people living in apartments (understandably.) My husband and I are both young (in our 20s), first-time dog owners (although I've lived with, and helped raised dogs for the majority of my childhood and teen years.) We live in a one-bedroom apartment, not really big but not small either, just an average apartment, with a bit of a bigger balcony. We also live right across from a dog-park (walking distance,) and a few hiking trails. The apartment we live in allows dogs, no weight restrictions but there are a few breed restrictions that we've already looked into, and we've already paid our pet deposit as well. We're particularly looking for a puppy OR younger dog so that we can spend 8-10+ (however old they live up to) years with him/her. Do you know of any shelters that are okay with adopting out to people who live in apartments? Thanks so much!

What color do I buy if I'm a redhead who wants to go a lighter red?

ELLOS! I am a natural redhead looking to go more of an orange-toned and/or copper color. However, I'm not really sure what color to do as I'm already a redhead. I can't really go get my hair professionally done as I'm at-risk for COVID-19 due to a blood clot in the lung, so I need to buy from a box. Here's a photo of my hair color now (keep in the mind that the filter has made it slightly brighter - but only by a tiny bit,) I'll also share some Google links to the color that I'm hoping to go. c: Thanks so much!

    Here's the color(s) I'm hoping to go:

    https://www.pinterest.com.mx/pin/56942394664022951...

Not sure if my hair color is already close to the last link or not, but it's pretty. lol I prefer the first two colors, but wouldn't mind going with the third as well. c:

I want to stay away from bleaching my hair as much as possible, so I understand it could be very difficult to go lighter, but I was wondering if there were any other options such as buying a blonde hair dye instead. If there are any other options besides bleaching, please let me know. Thanks so much!

  • Online jobs for people with severe social anxiety?

Hello! I was just wondering if anyone knew of any online jobs for people with severe social anxiety? I've been looking around a lot recently and have found a couple jobs that are entry level, work-from-home jobs, but most of them involve over-the-phone or video call meetings. I'm looking for something that is guaranteed pay, freelance work is okay as long as it's from a professional business. Disability is not an option for me (I would have a lot of trouble going through court, as I tend to not stand up for myself very well.) I'm not that good at a lot of things, but I'm somewhat proficient in writing, as well as organizing (I don't really mind what I would be organizing.) My weaknesses, apart from communication, include anything that involves complex math or science skills. Please let me know if you've heard of any online jobs that would be good for me! (I can't do deliveries, as I don't have a vehicle at this time, and am at high risk for COVID-19.) Thanks so much!

  • Can I drink alcohol if I have a blood clot in my lung?

Hello! I turned 21 about a month ago but haven't really gotten to drink. My mom told me she could drop off some alcohol for me, before work, if I wanted (I can't go out, as I'm high risk). I didn't ask my doctor if I could drink, as it wasn't on my mind at the moment. The doctors said it was smaller. I'm currently on 5 mg of Eliquis, I take one pill in the morning and one pill at night. I've been on the drug for about 4 months now, I have 6 more months to go. They're still not sure what caused the clot (I got it last year, in December, so it wasn't due to corona.) I was supposed to get some blood testing done but haven't gotten the chance to due to increasing cases of corona in my area, they think I might have this one gene that causes blood to clot easier. (I don't smoke, don't do drugs, and I'm not on bed-rest.) Do you think it would be okay for me to drink? If so, how much?

  • What are some of the best books you've read? The most emotional books you've read?

Hello! I'm looking to expand my book collection in the coming months. I have a pretty good supply right now, however, I feel like I've mentally outgrown a lot of the books I have. Most of the novels I own are young adult, however, my taste in books are changing and I'm now beginning to enjoy classics more. They don't necessarily have to be considered "classics," they just have to have an underlying message that is relevant to society today, or to past societies.

Specifically, I'm looking for something that will either make me cry, change my outlook on life, or help me grow as a person. Anything goes, regardless of genre. The only thing I ask is that they have an artistic flow, rather than a bunch of facts that are thrown together. I love history, but I really hate books that have that high-school-history-book flow to them. LOL

In short, I'm looking for books with messages that matter, regardless of the time-period, or genre it's written in.

    Thank you!

  • Ladies, would you ever date a man or woman who isn't a feminist?

This is going based off Google's definition of what REAL feminism is. This is an opinion-based question and is intended only for women or those who identify as such. This question is NOT for triggered adults who get pressed when they see the word "feminist."

  • Can I still be a teacher if I'm introverted?

Hello! I recently graduated high school in 2018 and I have yet to attend college. I wanted to wait for college until I was able to get my mental health under control (it is fairly under control now.) However, now that I think I'm ready for college, I find myself having doubts when it comes to my career plan.

I want to become a high school English Language Arts teacher, and I'm confident that is the route that I wish to take. I've always loved reading and writing since a very young age, so I've always known that whatever I went into, it had to be Language Arts related.

I'm confident I want to be a teacher because I want to make a lasting impact on others, that will stick with them well after I'm gone. I want to be able to help my students prepare for the work-force through teaching them to construct sound arguments, and how to write solid emails, which is needed in the majority of work fields. Of course, I also want to be able to teach them the magic of words and how to construct creative pieces. However, most importantly, I want to make connections with them and be someone that they can rely on.

Regardless, I'm very confident in my decision to become a teacher. However, I'm afraid that I would let my kids down due to how shy I am. Is there a way to be shy and still be a great teacher? Do you know of any teachers who are shy, but still really great at their job? Any advice?

  • Biblical Question Regarding Cain & Abel... (old testament)?

I just started reading the old testament of the bible. I got to the section about Cain & Abel. In that section, Cain kills his brother, Abel, and God goes to Cain and says, "Where is your brother Abel?" I also realized that after Cain said he doesn't know... God said, "Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground..." I read a few paragraphs after that, but I couldn't seem to find anything that would answer my question. I understand that God knew what had happened when he went to Cain asking what had happened to his brother, and was just testing Cain to see if he would admit to what he had done. However, why didn't God say anything about heaven in that part? Did Abel go to heaven? Was heaven not created at that point? How come God didn't speak to / see Abel after his passing?

  • URGENT: Questions about DEER & TRICARE for spouses?

Hello, I'm gonna keep this pretty short for time's sake. I recently married someone in the army about two weeks ago. He enrolled me in the DEER Tricare plan. Do I have to go to a local military branch to retrieve the card or do I start the process of retrieving it online? Thank you!
