  • Check engine light not going off on my 97 Honda Civic even after fixing problem?

Cranking and starting my Civic made the check engine light come on and sputter and idle real bad.

Figured it might be a bad fuel filter so I changed the thing and now it runs smoothly again but that check engine light is still on.

Can there still a problem? Do i need to reset something to make the light go off?

  • I need to remove an ingrown toenail. What over the counter drug can I use as a local anesthetic?

I live in Dallas Tx and have looked at all the nearby clinics. It would cost over $400 to get it done at one of these places. I do not have insurance but yes I do have a job so I do not qualify for any of the free clinic places.

Just got to do it myself. It is quite painful so I got to go through with this. I know about the risk of infection so I am going to be as clean about this as possible,

What can I order online or at a drugstore to numb the toe when pulling out the nail?

Is it going to be like the L.A. riots all over again?

    Or maybe even nation wide?

  • Will the The Firearms Freedom Act allow full automatic weapons to be made in state?

I do not believe we has the manufacturing potential at the moment but it seems to be a possibility in the future.

Wyoming has taken the The Firearms Freedom Act and also includes hail time for any feds that try to regulate their arms.

If production was to begin though I am certain it would get the attention of the anti 2nd amendment folks in dc.

This could start chipping away at the whole ban of 1986 ban of machine guns.

  • If welfare was done away with, would illegal imigration be a problem still?

A big reason folks complain about illegals coming here is they cost taxpayers through all the money they cost the country.

If all forms of welfare was erased then would there would be no reason for those that just want a free hand out to come here. Those that come here for a better life and job would be adding to the country's prosperity so no need to keep them out.

This would solve two problems at once, no more draining through wealth redistribution and no more need to worry about keeping folks out of the country.

  • My cat is in bad pain right now, I think I need to put him down?

My cat has been having health problems for a couple months now. He lost a lot of weight and the vet does not seem to be able to help him much now except force feeding him.

Now he is gasping and moaning, it looks really painful.

My wife is crying about it, and I do not want to lose him either but it is not right for him to be suffering like this.

It is 9:30 at night here so the vet is closed. The only thing I can think of is take him out somewhere vacant and shoot him. Is there any other thing to do?

  • Is it worth taking my cat to the vet?

My wife and I have a six year old male black and white cat. For about a month now he has gone from about twenty to now twelve pounds. He has been eating less and less each day and now hardly will eat anything.

He still drinks water but never grooms himself anymore so all his fur is grungy looking. He is no longer active like before, most of the time just hides somewhere around the house.

Can a veterinarian do anything for him? I am just worried that if I go there we will get charged a huge bill and it will be for nothing. We cannot afford anything more than a couple hundred dollars.

  • Why are gay people attracted to masculine woman and feminine men?

There is a two women lesbian couple I know. One of them is moderately male looking and the other is extremely male looking.

What I just am wondering about is if they are both seeking manly looking partners, why not just go out with a real man in the first place?

  • What is the difference between 5.56x45 and 5.56x43 ammo?

I just got my first rifle and am still learning about the basics.

I have an AR15 from dpms and and noticed the instruction manual states the weapon is chambered for 5.56x45. Will shooting 5.56x43 cause any problems.

  • Would you ever offer help to someone who is walking down a highway?

I live in north-eastern Texas. Around 7:30 at night my car overheats and was undriveable. I am walking down the highway for three and a half hours with a car passing me at least every five four to five seconds. Not a single person offered a ride or assistance of any sort.

Yes it was dark and maybe I am just a scary looking guy. The other drivers have no responsibility to help me out but it just kind of blows the warm and fuzzy feeling I had about folks around here. Are people like this all over the U.S.?

I know there are a lot of movies about the Serial Killer Hitchhikers but do you really let that keep them from offering help to others?

  • If I add a quart of oil to my car every 2 weeks, do I still need an oil change?

I have this old Honda Civic with just over 200k niles. I do not really see an oil puddle or any dripping when the thing is parked, but the stuff is going somewhere.

Every two-three weeks it needs another quart so would that mean there is no need to take it in for an oil change since it is getting fresh oil constantly?

  • Why are piano keys named the way they are? Why not number them 1,2,3 and so on?

Just seems piano playing would be easier for the novice to get into if they did not have to learn a whole new language.

  • Does cake icing magically rise up off of the cake?

I bought a a cake with whipped frosting from Walmart and had the word "Congratulations" written on it in white icing. I left it out overnight with the plastic top covering it and this morning when I wake up I see the word is printed on the underside of the plastic lid as if someone had turned it upside down.

The "Congratulations" is completely off of the cake, but the rest of the original frosting is still on the cake. It is like the letters just floated to the top somehow.

  • Do folks eat any other part of frogs besides the legs?

I went to a new buffet restaurant today with some friends and this was the first time I had ever seen real frog legs so I just had to try some. The things w tasted great even though it grossed my wife out.

Do people normally eat any other part of the body or is it poisonous or something?

  • I had a nasty Worm file on my computer and used System Restore, is my computer safe now?

I am not quite sure exactly how it happened, my wife was trying to watch an old movie online and went to some website. There it picked up some infection that popped up some type of virus scanner that demanded we subscribe in order to get it to remove the infection. It was called "win32.worm" or something like that. I am using Windows 7 and this is the first problem I have had so far.

It basically made it impossible to open up the browser or even type anything from the windows command prompt. I ended up having to restart the computer and enter the system restore mode from boot up. It seems to have worked. I can now use the computer normally and there is no sign that the infection is still on. Even a scan using Avast said that nothing was detected.

My wife and I know little about computers and are just concerned. Is it safe to leave it at that? I was considering restoring the factory settings just to be safe but that would be areal pain.
