Ok so i got a 2001 acura cl type s with 130,000 miles on it. What it does is that it often idles down like 100-200 RPMs when its stopped or parked. Sometimes its so bad that I feels like its about to die but it never does, and this is usually is when the rpms are at 300-200 (at the lower end). I have checked the intake system and it was all clean, and I even seafoamed where it told me to seafoam the car. But it still idles down when stopped at a light or parked. Please let me know what could cause the rpms to drop like that. Thanks!

Right now I have a v6 V-tech engine that pushes 260 hp. It can't be a turbo or a supercharged engine but v-tech engines are ok. I dont care about the price I just want to know which one is the strongest (no turbo or supercharger). No Porsche and GTR engines unless they are not turbo or supercharged because most of them are super or turbo charged. A website with information or just information on the engine would be great like size and hp. Thanks.

PS: I am not talking about cars with engines I am just talking about just the engine it self.

How are the Haida racing hd921 tires for a size of 225/40r18? And its going on my lowered 2001 Acura CL type S.

Please let me know if i should buy them because i can go get them tomorrow for about $400. And that is the price for new ones.

My car is a 2001acura cl type s. It has a cold air intake, headers, exhaust, two 12 inch subs, and is lowered. The frame is probably about 4-5 inches from the ground. Maybe 3-4inches. Just in case, so they don't stop us at the border because of a stupid reason.

Or can u tell me how I can find out. I saw something online about the dealer certifing it for Canada. Just wanted to see if u guys would know before I do that.

OK so the book went from this equation:

and turned it into this equation:

F=(μkmg)/(cos30º + μk sin30º)

How did they do that? I can't seem to follow through with it. This was for a question about how much work is being done if someone pulls a crate at 30º. Step by step would be good thanks.

Description of noise:

The engine sound is normal, but sometimes the sound goes down and makes it seem like its about to turn off. only happens sometimes when i am stopped at a light, or stopped in drive. It does not turn off. I had this problem before too on my old car but could find the problem. Could it be the battery ready to die? Or wire problem on the battery?

2001 Acura CL type s . with intake,headers, and exhaust. i also have 2 amps 1 is 1200watts another is 500 watts. One 12in 1200 watts sub-woofer. Just in case its the battery.

OK, I know that these chips suck for low end HP cars. But how about for a 2001 Acura CL type S, with intake, headers, and exhaust. The factory HP on it is 260, so right now its( I am guessing) 280 HP. So how much would it be with the chips. I am talking in general, so please good ESTIMATES would help. And please no small details, I might already know. I am just posting this to see what could be the gains or loses on my car. Hopefully gains.

Hi. i have a 2001 Accura CL type S with intake,headers, and exhaust. It runs great with 115,000 miles. I was wondering if it was ok to add more horse power to it using a turbo or something else. Some other options of increasing horse power would also help. Im going to keep it for a while and iam tryng to stay away from a explosion in the future. Thanks.

I know a few things like intake, headers, and exhaust make miles per gallon higher. But I don't know all of them and i don't know the numbers they add to the miles per gallon.

I got a 2001 Acura CL type S and engine is 3.2 V tech. Which spark plug would give the most horse power? I would also like to know which spark plug improves gas mileages? But horse power is first.

Also how long does it take for a sub to be broken in for some load bass?

I use to get a lot of bass at a volume of 20. But now i have to turn it up to 30 to get the same amount of bass. It happened about 1.5 week after I put it in.

Why did this happen?

I got a 1998 Lincoln Navigator and the front right shock leaked. It is a 4WD with 4-corner air leveling. I have seen many prices and brands and I don't know which one is better. I am mainly just looking for the qualty and performance, but lower price would be awsome.
