My husband's mother is an alcoholic. She did not even make it to our wedding and got fired from her job for coming to work drunk. This was the first job she had in 10 years because her husband is no longer in the picture to take care of her. She called my husband begging for money (again) and threatened to kill herself if she didn't get it because she said she was going to be kicked out on the streets. I told my husband to do whatever he felt was right because he gets hurt when I tell him not to do something. ANd I feared she would harm herself and he would blame me. But I tried before we got married to take him to Al-Anon and teach him about co-dependency and enabling. Still no matter how many people have told him about it he refuses to let his mom end up on the streets to hit rock bottom. I know next month this will probably happen again because I doubt she will look for a job. Should I try to stop him from giving her money? It's not a financial issue but more of a moral issue for me. Also I don't want this to become a financial burden when we start having children. I believe if I put my foot down he would stop sending her money. BUt I don't want to do that and then have it backfire. What should I Do? He absolutely REFUSES to go to al anon. ANd i am starting to feel angry about this.

First it was simple stuff like the cleaning staff that came once a week. Now all employees do all the cleaning etc and this is a job where we have to get dressed up a high end retailer!

Next it was our insurance benefits, he lowered the type of insurance from a PPO to an HMO and then decided he doesn't want to pay it all anymore.

Then it was all paid holidays and reducing hours.

Lastly our paid vacation is being taken away and now he is trying to make this permanent.

The economy makes it so that it is much harder to find work and our employer is taking advantage of this. I know I can quit but before it gets to that point I would like advice, statistics, logical answers that I can use to change his mind.

My stomach is flat but still in the center there is a small pouch of fat and my back has fat on it that creases near my waist from the back.

The last few days of my period and often the following week I am sad, or angry. My mood definitly gets worse. This doesn't happen the week before my period only the week after.
