  • First grade class to easy what to do?

My little brother started 1st grade this year and we are quickly realizing his class is too easy. He rushes through the homework (2 pages) in less then 5 min. He gets perfect scores on his reading and spelling quizzes and great in math.

In kindergarten he was in a high achieving class and although he passed his end of his year exams, he was put in a regular class because of behavior. He'said a good kid but has problems focusing and following directions. I'm almost certain he has some form of ADHD. My sister had the same problems at that age and only started to do better when she got to 7th grade but by then she was behind and had to work extra hard to catch up. My mom doesn'the believe in ADHD.

I am afraid the same thing will happen to my brother and that he will become less focus and fall behind in the less challenging class.

What can I do to help him?

    Thank-you for your help.

  • Which is harder French or Spanish?

I was considering which language to take next semester.

I took spanish in high school but didn't really learn anything, I know spanish is useful down here in South Florida.

I also like French, I would have taken it in High school if it was offered. I know French would be usefully in my personal life because, many members of my family are fluent in French. I would just take French but I don't want to hurt my GPA.

    Thanks.

  • how hard is intro into public speaking in college?

I am a junior in HS and I was thinking of doing dual enrollment at the community college for Intro into Public Speaking. How difficult is the class for someone with no experience in public speaking? What are some of the requirements for completing and passing the class? I would not like to take a class I would fail because my school might not want to pay for another class for me.

  • What is your definition of race?

    And how many are there?

We talked about it in class and no one could agree on one answer.

I want to know if the rest of the world really knows what race means or if we're all clueless.

Please be serious and don't say a competition to see who or what is the fastest. NO DICTIONARY DEFINITIONS!!! :)

  • Analysis of Functions helpful?

My school offers Analysis of Functions before pre-calculus and because we're on a block schedule you can take two maths in one year. I am taking Algebra 2 Honors right now and next semester I want to skip analysis of functions and go straight to Pre-calculus is that a good idea?

    Grades in Algebra 2 Honors:

1st quarter (a semester in block schedule)

"B" in the class and an "A" on the midterm exam

2nd quarter (2nd semester in block schedule)

Currently an "A" in the class

Any advice is helpful, I have to make a finale decision soon Thank-you :)

  • Easy Algebra question?

A banquet room can seat a maximum of 69 people. The coach, principal, and vice principal have invited the award-winning girls' tennis team to the banquet. If the tennis team consist of 22 girls, how many guest can each student bring?

I find the question to be fairly simple as the 22 girls plus the 3 adults will equal out to 25. 69-25=44 so each girl could bring 2 guest.

The real problem is I can't for the world write an equation for this problem! Am I missing something? am I wrong? If you have the equation please help me out.

10 points for the first best answer

  • Carrie Underwood how would you?

I think she has an amazing voice and is very beautiful. So with my story I wanted my main Character to look like her. But I don't just want to say long golden blonde wavy hair. It sounds so plain and boring. I would like for my readers to see her through my words but I just can't find the right ones.

    Thank-you :)
