A spacecraft is in orbit around Jupiter. The radius of the orbit is 3.0 times the radius of Jupiter (RJupiter = 71,500 km). The gravitational acceleration at the surface of Jupiter (the surface is defined as the above radius) is 23 m/s2. Without using any other information about Jupiter, what is the period of the spacecraft's orbit?

my sister is in a Cultural Psychology class and her professor showed the close a full video on how Fox News is corrupted and lying to America so that they can brainwash them or something..

Is this right? I know that it might be ok.. It just bothers me that a professor is trying to impose his opinions on his students instead of teaching them specifically what his class requires him to teach!

Antibiotics Losing Ground

Antibiotic, the super drug of the century is starting to be more ineffective in doing its job of killing or inhibiting bacteria. Overuse and misuse of it gives bacteria a chance to become resistant to the antibiotics that normally could kill them. This is turning normal bacteria into superbugs that cannot be killed by antibiotics. The good news is that this high rise in superbugs could be hindered if people were more aware of what antibiotics are and how they work.

The first antibiotic was penicillin, which was discovered by accident from a mold culture. Since then, antibiotics have been prescribed more than any other drug on the market.. Health care professionals now have over 100 different kinds of antibiotics that cure a wide range of deadly diseases, or even minor discomforts (Stephens). Antibiotic is a powerful medicine that fights infections caused by bacteria, not viral or fungal infections. Some examples are, Colds, Flu, most coughs and bronchitis, and most sore throats.

Because antibiotic cured so many diseases when it first came to use, it made many people think that it was the miracle drug that cured almost all the diseases. Doctors started to over prescribe it to patients without making sure that they had a bacterial infection, meat companies started to put antibiotics in the food of their live stock, so that they would be less susceptible to infectious diseases, and people started to overstock on antibiotics prescribed by Doctors and then used them at their own will, which led to overuse and misuse of antibiotics. All this is leading to a serious issue in today’s world where antibiotics are misused and overused in humans and in animals raised for food. Antibiotics that are not abused or misused, have the ability to save countless lives, instead of giving bacteria a chance to form resistance, which leaves physicians helpless in stopping infectious diseases (McConnell).

This over prescription of antibiotics is giving bacteria a chance to overcome the effects of antibiotics by the constant metamorphosis they go through. They keep going through mutations that get passed down from generation to generation. When an antibiotic is used on a strain of bacteria, it kills all the bacteria but the few that had an advantage in their DNA mutation. Now there is a new strain of bacteria that needs a new kind of antibiotic to kill it. Over time, entire populations of bacteria will form resistance to a specific antibiotic if they are overly exposed to it. Doctors tried to over ride this by prescribing different antibiotics, but this was not effective in the long run because the more pressure you apply, the more you end up getting superbugs that are resistant to many different antibiotics. Most of this resistance forms when antibiotics are used how they should not be used, like when people don't follow the exact orders of the Doctor on how to take antibiotic. They stop taking the drug before all the pills are used and this will leave the strongest germs to grow and further evolve with a resistance to the antibiotic (Gershman).

All this misuse of antibiotics is helping superbugs like staphylococcus to form resistance. In return, this is raising the chances of death for hospital patients that get infected with MRSA, a staph infection. They are now four times more likely to die of these antibiotic resistant bacteria. The other bad news is the fact that resistant strains of bacteria are now thriving outside of hospitals as well, and killing healthy people (Clemmitt). This is a very troubling fact that will lead to a future in which antibiotics will have no power over a high majority of bacteria. If people had more information on how antibiotics work and how to not use them, we could significantly slow down the process of bacterial evolution that resist antibiotics.

Shouldn't God's power be the one that makes people fall, and don't people in the Bible always fall on their face in the presence of God?

There are a lot of other Pastors push like this and it bothers me because I don't find it Biblical.

P.S. I am not against Benny Hinn though.. I listen to a lot of his teachings.

I am more mad at Scotland because I wouldn't expect anything more from Libya anyways. Just seeing the way they greeted a convicted mass murderer is disgusting in their part and I have no more respect for them.

I am also mad at the British government for not criticizing at all the decision that Scotland made.

Its talking about Christians in this passage, because only they are in the race for the prize of eternity.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Again.. It clearly says that faith without action is DEAD.. Dead means, loss of salvation.

James 2:14-17

16.If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?

So, you have a possibility to lose salvation if you don't actively choose to remain in Chirst.

Why would Jesus tell that to a none Christian? To none Christians He would first tell them to believe in Him, not how to live after you believe in Him.

So, how do you explain these verses?

Do you think that Mary(the Mother of Jesus) was a virgin till the day she died? I heard that some Catholics believe that.

(when Jesus visited his home town in Matthew 13:55-56 and all his old neighbors proclaimed, "Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us?"... So, the Bible says that Mary did have kids.)

1. ( I know that in the Bible Jesus is very clear in Luke 4:8 when he says, "You shall do homage to the Lord your God; Him alone shall you adore.")

why do you make Mary the mediator between you and Jesus or God?

Do you believe that the Priest can forgive your sins? Why do you confess to them and where in the Bible does it say to do that?

( 1 John 2:1 says, "And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and He is the propitiation for our sins.")

(Mark 2:7 is pretty clear about who has the power to forgive sins, folks. It says, "Why doth this man (Catholic Priests) speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but GOD ONLY.")

There are some very wise Catholics that really know God, but I see most Catholics are people looking for an easy way into heaven by following teachings and traditions that did not come from the Bible, but from human popes and priests.. which are not saints or holy, because ONLY GOD is Holy!

I am asking because my parents are Romanian and grew up in Romania, where Christian Pentecostal's made it an absolute law that women had to wear a head covering in Church. You were considered a non Christian and a big sinner if you did not cover your head in church or when you prayed.

Does this passage really say that women have to cover their heads, or what else do you think it's trying to say?

Since almost 90% of the African-American people voted for him.. I was just wondering if he would of still had won the election if he was the same man, just not black?

He has had 40 press conferences in a short amount of time.. I know he is trying to sell his health care plan, but I think this overexposure is only cheapening his speeches and himself.

My full question is: When Jesus talks about, "The Kingdom of God", What do you think He is talking about. Heaven after death, or the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth through us the children of God who have a relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit?

God's rule over everything he has made. The kingdom of God comes when God removes evil and brings real peace and justice. The main subject of Jesus' teaching was the kingdom of God. By becoming a follower of Jesus, a person becomes part of the kingdom of God.

I know that the name Adam in Hebrew means "earth", but I was reading this really good book written by a black guy and was loving it but then he said that Adam means "dark earth" and he was clearly implying that Adam was of a dark skin nature.

I was just wondering if all black people think that Adam was black, or anyone else?

I just think that God is more interested in having daily communion with us then He is in our having "perfect" worship services where everything is exactly "proper" and where all our traditions and rituals are exactly in place. Man wants religion while God wants a relationship. Man seeks to relate to God through the principles of religion while God seeks to relate to man through the mystery of a personal relationship.

Man fell from this intense passionate relationship with God, and God is seeking to restore man back to the simplicity of the Garden experience. Also, our kingly authority over the earth is something He wants us to exercise and enjoy now, not just some distant day in the future after we died and gone to heaven. We are sons and daughters of the King of the universe. We can experience the victory that is ours as people of the Kingdom. This is why Jesus came.. To restore this purpose of God. He came to preach that the Kingdom of God is at hand! We now have constant access to the Holy Spirit of God, just like it was in the Garden of Eden.

Why have we distorted this truth and made it look like we need rituals and traditions to get to God? We have turned a simple and powerful concept into Religion, and Religion does nothing but drive people away from a Loving God and divides us into groups, when we should be the United Ambassadors of the Kingdom of God here on earth.

My inspiration comes from the book: 'Rediscovering the Kingdom' by Myles Munroe, and from other books I have read but above all from the Bible.

I am not and am telling everyone I know to not see it. I am already sure everyone I know will not go.

I think it's disgusting what they did, and quite frankly it just shows their true faces. The Pastor shared his message and acted like a normal loving human being, unlike those conniving and immature producers.
